Re: wash n fold service

I've done it and most times it was good - however - I didn't always get all of my clothing back

To be technical, it was 20lbs and it was 17.80 but with that, it would have only been 2 loads. I separated them into 3, so I had to pay $1.50 for the 3rd washer. So all together including drying was 19.30 since I wanted 3 sep loads

Towels and sheets I will continue to wash at my parents or do them at the laundromat on my own.

hmmm. i never dropped it off and specified the # of loads.

am i doing something wrong? did you separate colors and whites? ....just trying to understand

Not at my laundromat. They go by the pounds and seperate themselves.

They charge and divide it up by lbs. at ours, too.

Re: wash n fold service

They divide it up but I'm anal. I separated into dark, white and dh work clothes bc they are dirty and don't go near mine. They would have divided it into dark/white if I didn't but I'm just annoying like that

Re: wash n fold service

DH used to do his laundry this way til i pointed out how many of his clothes they were shrinking, lol ... he's big & tall and his shirts would wind up just past his belly button ... we're saving money on buying new clothes for him by doing it ourselves ... and we get bonding time at the laundromat, lol ...

Re: wash n fold service

I like doing my laundry...I love folding it when it comes out of the dryer and its all nice and warm.

If DH didn't have me he'd use a wash n fold service. He doesn't do laundry or fold at all.

Re: wash n fold service

That's all I did in college. There was no freaking way I was sitting in a laundromat for hours at a time and my building didn't have a washer and dryer.

It was like $0.25/ a pound... worth every penny!!
