We are officially...

…in contract!!

I’ve wanted to throw up for the past week because we signed all the papers last Wednesday, but since the seller has already moved to Florida we had to wait for her to sign the papers and I was starting to get nervous. Luckily it came back today!

We still have to go through all of the mortgage stuff, but we've already been pre-qualified and pre-committed, so hopefully there’s no problems with that.

Estimated closing date is March 15th – actually it would be cute if it got moved to the 17th since we got engaged on St. Patty’s Day.

I am so excited not to look at any more houses!! We’ve been looking since July!!

The kitchen and one of the bathrooms were just re-done… the rest of the house… not so much. I see a lot of wallpaper removal in my future.

DH had a man cave, but since getting the puppy its turned into the puppy room. Now he has redo the basement to have a mancave again

Looks awesome kristen! Dh has his man cave as well... which is being turned into a beer pong room come sunday.... lucky me Now what room do we get for ourselves?!?! LOL

and and seriously, if you have a ton of wallpaper to remove... i'll say a prayer for you... you're going to need it if its OLD wallpaper, it may come off rather easily... but god help you if its fairly new.... I have 1 room that only has a border that was put up sometime in ther last 10 yrs and holy mother of god... it is the most aggravating thing to do in the house

wow thats great and the two most expensive areas to re-do are brand new so you don't have to worry about it. A new paint job and some of your own personal touches and it will be beautiful!
