Just thought i would share how much fun it is to buy your first christmas tree together.
We picked a 6ft fat tree. We put it in its' little stand and watered it and just watched it for about 5 minutes giggling!
We are going to put the lights on tonight and decorate it!

We just did that too. We got the 6ft fat tree...put the lights on it and our SIX ornaments on it....I was so excited

six ornaments= ha ha, i have about 15.. keep buying..
it is so much fun to buy them, but our tree will still look incredibly bare.

I want to buy ornaments that mean something so I've been carefully picking them out...I have one that I got on our HM...one that says Our First Christmas, etc. So it's probablly going to take me a while to fill up my tree. I love sitting on the couch and staring at my tree though

You guys should stock up the day after Christmas when everything is on sale. That's what we did last year and now we have a house full of decorations! It was so much fun putting everything up.

We got our first tree to. We had so much fun doing it, we put up the lights but not the ornaments. that is for tomorrow. We just stood there for a while in each others arms, we were so happy to have our tree.

We went & cut down our first tree on Saturday. We ended up with a 9 ft tree. It was so much fun to decorate it on Sunday!!

we are goign to stock up again the day after christmas, but we did well so far..
we decided to put popcorn on the tree also! LOL

buying our tree wasnt that fun. we had no idea what we were doing (both of us had fake trees growing up) - we bought the 2nd tree the guy showed us and learned later that we got duped.
oh well - its decorated pretty!

That's so great. Right about now I would be happy with a Charlie Brown x-mas tree.

We got ours too - got a mini one for on top of our table b/c not enough room in our apt for a big one just yet! Maybe next year!
