We did it - we're homeowners!!!!!

We closed on our house yesterday - I still can't believe it and I don't want to be here at work! I want to be in my new home moving in and setting it up!

I just walked around in amazement last night each moment it was sinking in! Family and friends dropped by to see the house and we all had champagne! It was a great night. At one point I looked out front and DH was there surrounded by about 5 neighborhood kids all introducing themselves and asking him a million questions - it was adorable!!!

Here are some pics I took before we went back to our apt last night and put on Shutterfly:
New House

I can't wait to go 'home' tonight!!!

Oh wow Mary ... Congratulations! I remember you saying that your kitchen was gorgeous, and I have to admit that it is. Actually the whole house is in pretty good shape. We had a mess!!!
We had similar basement paneling ... but had to rip it down due to termite damage ... !

Good Luck and Congratulations again ... it's so wonderful!!!
