We closed on our house yesterday - I still can't believe it and I don't want to be here at work! I want to be in my new home moving in and setting it up!
I just walked around in amazement last night each moment it was sinking in! Family and friends dropped by to see the house and we all had champagne! It was a great night. At one point I looked out front and DH was there surrounded by about 5 neighborhood kids all introducing themselves and asking him a million questions - it was adorable!!!
Here are some pics I took before we went back to our apt last night and put on Shutterfly: New House
I can't wait to go 'home' tonight!!!

Re: We did it - we're homeowners!!!!!
Thank you so much for all your wonderful wishes! My two favorite parts are the kitchen and the front door as well! Oh and after being an apartment dweller for many years, I am excited to do my own laundry any time of the day or night!!
Marni & Lauren - yes it is official we are neighbors!!
Karen - thanks I am excited about the sink in the laundry room too !
Wacky - (not that it hadn't crossed my mind tho !)
Heather - do you have a picture of your dining room set?? We are still undecided about what to do!
Thanks everyone - you all made me feel even more excited and thrilled with our home!!

Congratulations. Your new home looks beautiful. God bless.
We are also closing on a house on Monday and I am excited for the same exact reason - laundry facilities!!!!!!!!! We have the sink near the washer too and I'm even more excited.
LOL!!
I hope you have many happy times there.
