we got a home...!

we got a home...!

i ddin't think it would happen so fast! but we have a contract on house!!! and a renter for DH condo and have listed mine (ours to rent!) things are coming together! we close JULY 13th....

the sweetest part is that DH has never lived in a house...he grew up lving in an apt and as a young adult lived in dorms, apts and condos but never a house...and now a dream has come true for him...i'm so happy for him!

its a little older but on the VA side of DC. i didn't think i'd be this excited but i am...and now we can think about getting a dog!

thanks...i feel very blessed...we looked at so many, put a bid on two others...they didn't happen. re-affirms my faith that there is a master plan from the BIG guy and everything happens for a reason...

but i will NOT be getting any new clothes for a long long while-haha...

Wow - it is a beautiful home!! And it is a good size with a great yard from the looks of it!!

I can only imagine how excited you and DH are!! The housing market is so tight, it must be such a relief to have a contract on something!! What part of VA are you in?
