I still got DH a little something. He wanted a yankees hat since he lost his, and got him 3 dvd's.

I completely hear you, DH is going to be so happy when he gets his 25.00 gc to blockbuster. he loves getting them on christmas and going that day(he is usually bored by 11 AM) and getting dvds that all year I tell him no

I just got married almost two weeks ago and the holidays are a week away, I am so broke! We just got back Sunday from our honeymoon and the we had to spend more money and rush out and Christmas shop. I wish I could skip gifts with the family this year!

All my friends want to go out to dinner and go to the movies and I can't. I just got my husband a Lord of The Rings sword that he wanted for $65.00, he doesn't care how much I spend.

You have each other and you cannot put a price on that...this year I'm the big spender...I'm looking at our tree my husband has 19 gifts from me alone all electronics, so far I see 3 boxes for me from him, I don't care!! I love to give, my husband is my best friend, and I will enjoy xmas watching him open all that stuff (and hooking it up)...

I'm still trying to get DH his XM satellite radio...but I know he'll appreciate the CD's and DVD's I get him that he had and lost....it's the little things...and I'd rather be on my own with him than live with his parents and have all the things we could ever want

I know, you know we also live far away from our families. There's always next christmas, plus we are taking this big trip to my country on new year's eve, we have no money to take, but I guess we'll manage
