Has anyone else tried on their dress again? I am going to pack mine away in the next few weeks but I think I'm going to have to put it on one more time. Maybe for my 1 year anniversary.

it wouldn't fit if I tried. I tried to put it on right before I took it to be cleaned and preserved and it didn't zip.

I'm having it cleaned and preserved so I don't think I'll take it out for quite a while - I do however wear my tiara around the house...

Re: WEARING YOUR DRESS
I haven't yet, but I plan to soon. My sister was married in 1991 and I took her dress out because I originally thought I might update it and wear it. It's still in my house and we decided that we are going to put them on one day and invite my other sister over and not tell her we are wearing them. Then when she comes over we'll be baking cookies or playing cards or something like nothing is up.

That's so funny! My sister said that if she had one she would be cleaning the house with it on, vacuming, cooking, everything. Here I have one and I haven't even put it on since the wedding.

Re: WEARING YOUR DRESS
I actually have to tie my wedding top in when I wear it. Mind you the top part of my dress is very easy to adjust the size.

mine is already boxed up, and even if it wasn't, it would not zip up at all!! it was tight the day of, now w/ 8 extra pounds, no way!!
it's funny about your tiara - i just found my viel and tiara and was wearing them around the house on sunday, til i was told to pack it up!!

Re: WEARING YOUR DRESS
Its still hanging on my bedroom door, I have been dying to just put it on and chill around the house, I mean really I will probably keep it for a year and then get rid of it.

DH thinks I am so nuts doing it but I love it so much and it sits just right on my head. I had to put it away though when my nieces come to the house- my tiara was expensive so I don't want anything happening to it.
