Wedclean...not happy
I was apprehensive after reading Beth's post. But, I had already paid them for the service and had the box packed and ready to go.Here is a copy of the email that I just sent:
Hello,
I wanted to let you know that I received and inspected my gown today. Upon lifting the skirt out of the box, several beads fell on the ground. ( I assume these were the beads that I was charged $100 to repair)
In addition, one of the loops for hanging the gown that is on the shoulder of the dress had one piece that was detached from the fabric when I sent the dress to wedclean. Now, that part was reattached by using one of those plastic things that holds tags to clothing. And, the other end, which had been securely attached when I sent the gown out is now almost completely off. I will need to have this fixed by my seamstress because I am sure that it would be very uncomforatble for anyone to wear the gown with a piece of plastic on the shoulder.
I am sure it would not have been very much trouble to quickly stitch the loose end back to the shoulder part of the gown. Instead, the secure end was nearly torn off and the loose end was attached using something that is intended to secure tags to clothing.
I am disappointed. It is highly unlikely that I will be able to recommend your company to anyone else.

Re: Wedclean...not happy
still no answer...I am upset because they charged me $100 for bead work. Really, what they did was mostly stitch on sequins, not too many beads and the beads that they did stitch on are mostly loose and some fell off.
Plus, that whole hanger loop thing...

Re: Wedclean...not happy
I am sorry you had a problem with them. I know someone else that had a problem with them but Wedclean made it right and completely repaired the gown. I hope they do the right thing for you as well.Welcome New Vendors
