Wedding attendees ONLY Please!!!

OK - by now every Oheka bride has about had with me. Maybe I should have used the screen 'pathetic' instead of sweetnessconfused, but I have to come up with a decision tonight and I am at my wits end!!!!! The hall will not hold my day any longer! I am only looking for attendees, since we all know brides can be biased. Sorry!

My 2 choices are Oheka and Russo's on the Bay. I know both are 2 different worlds, but I have an Italian family and need to consider food as an issue. In your honest opinion, if you could choose either or, $$$ not an issue, which would you choose???

Although Oheka is beautiful I am worried that after the first 1/2 hour guests will disregard the ambiance and then it is really the food which will ompress them. So then maybe I should go with Russo's. Which place would you think your guests would be most impressed with?

I am a lost case, please help me!!!!!!

Although you want to impress your guests you have to remember that it's YOUR wedding and YOUR day and you only do it once.

Oheka and Russo's are completely different worlds.

What you have to ask yourself is how YOU always envisioned your day to be. If your answer is 'in a castle, simple elegance, fairytale backdrop' then chances are you'd regret having it at Russo's.

If it truly doesn't matter to you where it is as long as the guests are happy, then save your $$$ and have it at Russo's.

Just remember that in the end, you shouldn't worry to much about impressing your guests because you can't please everyone. What you want is a day that you can look back on and say that it was everything you ever wanted.

I have not been to Oheka so I cant compare but I have been to Russos.

IMO, the food at Russos is 'typical' wedding fare. Not outstanding, not bad. But its definitely plentiful - there is more food there than an army could eat - so if thats important, you need to take that into consideration.
