I did a search but couldn't find the thread on this. Those of you that did the wedding cake thing on your 1st anniversary, how long prior did you take it out of the freezer to defrost? I'm thinking of celebrating at home this weekend b/c we are off to punta cana next week and will be away for our actual anniversary.

I was told like 2-3 days before is a good amount of time. But I'm not too sure.

We took ours out that morning and ate it that night after dinner. I just left it on the counter all day.

Um... We ate ours already... Yes, I know, I'm not even married two months...
We put it in the fridge the day before and it was fine. Delicious, actually.
