Wedding Guest Question

i just thought of something really funny....well not really, but now that the wedding is over its kind of funny to me....

did anyone else have a guest that wasn't invited attend their wedding? i dont want to go into the details b/c you never know who might read this stuff but we had it happen we had a feeling it would happen but we were still shocked when it did

well the people who came to ours were intentionally not invited by DH and I.....and then they came anyway!

at least they gave us a gift

Bizarre! I have heard of parents showing up with their kids but adults coming without invite....how embarrasing

i mean obviously we know the people - see the bad thing is they got a save the date BUT something happened that really pissed me off and i didnt want this person at the wedding anymore, and since the couple wasn't really a guest of DH and I's we decided to not send them an invite....but then they showed up anyway!! we were like, who does that?!?!?! and they aren't our relatives either....just totally bizarre....there is more to the story but im too afraid to get into it

i was just wondering if anyone else knew people that were so ballsy!

Just show up uninvited? No. I agree. Nice that they did at least give you a gift.

haha well one couple was left off the guest list bec DH said NO. But then the 3rd person was the daughter of MIL's work friend. Her and her husband brought their daughter...granted she is 20 yrs old I think but it's NUTS!!!

So I have a random question - where did you seat them??? ha, that's awesome...we didn't have that - but we did have someone bring an 'escort', to put it nicely..

we didn't, but at my exbf's brother's wedding their were 2 crashers. It was at a hotel in Nj and we were at the hotel from early AM...taking pics and stuff and these people kept hanging around and asking us questions about the couple while commenting on how nice everyone looked, how pretty the flowers were, etc.

THEN, the CH was in an area accessible to other hotel guests and I noticed them sitting on a couch with drinks..but I didn't want to bother the bride/groom or their parents...at the Ch.

THEN, this is the best...they sat at the friend/BP table at the Reception..the table I was at with my bf. I was like WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?? They were NOT dressed for a wedding..so I asked the MOG and the MOB and no one knew them..so they were asked to leave by the Matre D
