Wanted to show you what kept me busy while we had our blizzard yesterday. I did this from Sonicstef's idea (hope you don't think I stole your idea Stef! ). I decoupaged all sayings and images from the cards we got from our wedding on a oval hatbox of the sort ( I never sat down and looked at how pretty some of these cards were) and found this was a great way to display it.

Re: Wedding Keepsake Box
LOVE it!! I am totally doing the same - maybe that'll be my 3rd or 4th project - all these things will keep me busy til Spring!
Now, sorry to ask such a dumb question, but can you explain step by step how you made that? I've never done this before, so I have no idea on the process or what you need.
Oh, and I love how you decorated each side - some type of focal point in the center, and then all smaller things around - very nice!!!

Re: Wedding Keepsake Box
Thats great! Maybe I should get working on mine :D
By the way - your cards are 10x as nice as mine. I only have a few cards that I really like so Im sort of stuck on how to display the other ones. (Has anyone ever heard of a card company called Keating by Manzer? Because I have no fewer than 10 cards from this company and one is just uglier than the other - hhahah)

Re: Wedding Keepsake Box
Teri: I got a few really pretty cards...but 90% are really hideous. Even my brother - who would notice something like that if it hit him in the face said 'you have the ugliest collection of wedding cards ever!! and who the hell is keating by manzer?' hhahahha
