Just curious, what was the most difficult part of the wedding planning period for you guys?
For me, I think it was the invitations--I could not figure out what to buy, hated writing the addresses on them, and agonized over putting them together properly.
The other part that was really hard was the two days before the wedding. I was off work, and had a lot to do, but I was really stressed and felt like I had attention deficit disorder. I could not focus on one thing for long. It was not a good feeling, though when the day came, I felt strangely calm.

Re: Wedding Planning
For me it was also the invites. And then the whole dress (mine and BM's) situation. And the guest list. OK, so I HATED planning in general.

Re: Wedding Planning
I had a fun time with my planning Everything seemed to just flow and the decisions were quick...
However, dealing with my MIL, SIL and father on some details made me explode a few times

THe seating. I hated the seating, god forbid you put this one near that one. Other than that it went fine, except my one BM she made me drink ...alot.

Re: Wedding Planning
the worst part was that I was living in NYC at the time, and was far away from all our vendors. I had a cr@ppy job too, that didnt give me much free time to make calls I needed to make. I had to rely on other people help, who didnt do as thorough a job as I would have. I dont feel I was as on top of things as I should have been.
I also felt as though unless I completed somthing myself such as the music arrangement, the seating charts, getting addresses, etc, DH would have put it off until the day before the wedding!

Re: Wedding Planning
I thought it would be the seating but that work out GREAT! It was actually my bridal shower that was teh most stressful. I had no control over anyting and there were quite a few differneces of opinion with my BP. BUt it turned out GREAT!!!
I miss planning

Re: Wedding Planning
Well, I would say in the begining, going from vendor to vendor and having to pick one was very tedious and scary. Then right before the wedding, picking songs and making must take photo lists, planning those last details were annoying to me, because you get so stressful.

Dealing with my florist was the worst part.

I thought I'd go CRAZY doing the seating arrangements. That, and the invites, were my most stressful.

Re: Wedding Planning
Id say coming up with a guest list/cutting it down to make sure we didnt go over our limit.
Also dealing with my florist was stressful AFTER he got our deposit!
Two or three days before the wedding was very stressful just because it felt like there was 100 things left to do and not enough time.

Re: Wedding Planning
I really liked wedding planning, but we did agonize over choosing a photographer. The last few days before the wedding were also pretty stressful.

The worst was our limo company the day before my wedding! I was a mess that day because of the owner!

Putting together the invitations.....I put together about 50 invitations before I realized that I forgot to put the return stamp on the RSVP's!!

Re: Wedding Planning
The most agonizing we faced was over our HM, believe it or not. I think we had a hard time settling on a choice because of our high expectations.
Then a close runner up was the ceremony - just figuring out the order of the ceremony and picking out readings and songs ended up being confusing for us and took a long time.
