wedding video....

did anybody not love ur video??? we just got ours today... i like it but i dont love it. idk maybe its just me.
did anybody else feel this way???

i'm picking up my video next week, but that is a fear of mine that i wont like it after seeing so many great ones from this site.

what are the reasons you dont like it? can you talk to your videographer and maybe make some changes?

same here... but im glad we have that footage and i paid for a more basic package so i can only blame myself

first tim we watched it i didnt like it..dont know why ut didnt..i think i was just overanalyzing it...

but now we looove it..we watch it like 2 times a week

can the compnay edit it..what dont u ike bout it?

I love ours but I wasn't expecting much of anything at all! We only paid for the most basic 'unedited' package and it cost us almost nothing. So I was expecting the quality to be crappy... but I thought he did a great job with it! It was edited really nicely. No extras like a slideshow or anything, but he actually video'ed the digital frame slideshow we had on our escort card table and put that in so it was like a free slideshow within the video! I could've picked better songs (there were just 3) but it doesn't matter. It was so cool to see everything live-action as opposed to just the photos!

Maybe I just have really low standards...

I do not love our video. If I had to give it a grade, I'd give it a 'B'.

Why? Well, for starters I wasn't happy with how the company runs. We were given a fully edited video. We never got a copy to preview first and express what we would like added/changed, Maybe that's how it is these days but even my cousin who got married at Brentwood CC (package wedding) got to preview her video first.

After watching it for the first time, there were a few things I wanted changed. But the only thing I e-mailed the company about at first was a spelling error at the end of the video. They were able to fix that immediately. Had I known that, I would have given them the entire list of things. So maybe it's my own fault but they wouldn't even change something that is 100% the editor's fault. When my dad gave me away, he said something. You can hear what he says but the picture and sound do not match up and he is already sitting in the pew when he's heard on the video. They (the company owner) wouldn't correct that. Their solution was us paying extra for the raw unedited footage that is only 5-10 mins. longer.
