DH and I are planning a small weekend trip in the Fall just to get away. Any ideas where to stay and what to do in VT?

Re: Weekend Trip to VT
ben & jerry's, magic hat brewery, vermont teddy bear company.
those are all the places we hit when we went!
let me grab the hotel info (we stayed at a best western)...
they were also working on a smuckers factory thingy...or maybe another 'jam' company...it would be open by now - i'm sure!

Re: Weekend Trip to VT
i've only been in the winter to ski; i had a house up in Okemo. But fall should be beautiful in VT. definitely check out some fall foliage routes; if you google it you should get a bunch of good areas.

How far up north do you want to go? Stowe, VT is beautiful.

I went to a wedding (actually worked at it) at the Round Barn Inn. It was GORGEOUS. Its a little inn... that has a round barn. DH & I said we wanted to go back there for a weekend.
there are also outlets in Manchester that are good. You can go apple picking... kayaking... hiking.

i can't find the place where we stayed - but i know it was near burlington, vt. The 'downtown' area was ADORABLE...just cutesy little stores, etc. I'd LOVE to go back!
