WET WEDNESDAY 10/28/09 NWQOTD

Ok we all know that newlywed bliss doesnt last 24/7 & we all have our moments where real life takes over & arguments & tiffs happen...

Research shows that most couples argue over money. ok. So aside from that - what do you & DH have arguments about?

for us it's usually the fact that when DH asks me to do something I dont drop everything Im doing at that very second to do what he's asking me to do. It drives me bonkers that he cant wait a few mintes sometimes - esp when I have my hands full of something else.

The other thing we argue about sometimes is the fact that when I clean he doesnt pay any mind to that I cleaned (esp when it comes to the bathroom) & will make a mess & wait for me to clean it, & then piss & moan that it's not clean. I have stopped cleaning the bathroom daily just based on this fact b/c I refuse to clean up after him every day - now I clean it either twice a week or weekly.

Thats so funny me and DH argue about the same things. Well actually I complain about those things

He expects me to drop everything Im doing if needs me for a second. It drives me nuts b/c if I ask him its a joke lol.

Forget cleaning - DH is a mess and I have OCD. Ive pretty much just learned to deal with it. Theres no point in screaming my head off about towels on the floor. He is who he is, its not worth the fight!

We argue mostly about his work hours. They really s*ck and I can never plan to do anything on any weekends (day or evening) and barely any weeknights and its starting to really get to me. I am starting to feel like the girl who got married to the phantom husband. This is the biggest thing that we argue about. We also argue sometimes because hes a huge procrastinator and I am the complete opposite.

Everything else are small 'fake' arguments that usually last 5 minutes.

LOL! That is my argument right now too! Meanwhile I have like 10 effing remote control cars in my den right now b/c DH found a new and very expensive obsession!

And we argue over the dog.

We fight a lot about his work hours! during the week its not that bad, but he works and extra day on saturdays all the time for extra money! and altho its extra money and im not complaining about that! its always like he goes above and beyond for work and will never even try to get our early so we can do something or if we have plans

my fav is when he askes if we have plans on a certain day (cuz im his personal calendar) and if we do and im like yes babe we have this that day...why? and he will be like oh i have to work! ummmmm why do you even bother asking if we have plans if having plans doesnt matter! he always gets mad and is like babe its my job, but umm no its not when its extra!!! your job is m-f! you help them out by working saturday! being that is not your scheduled day it should be fine to not go in one or two saturdays every now and then!!!!!!

but i love when he makes plans with the boys to do something and is all like oh yeah ill leave early on saturday and ill be there! WHAT??

sorry this was a full on vent!!! lol

I know this sounds crazy, but FH and I don't argue at all. Sometimes we have little 3 second heated conversations, usually about who's turn it is to take the dog out or clean the house...

But that's rare.

But truly we talk EVERYTHING out all the time, we never hide anything from each other. We show each other our bills every month and tell each other what we're spending each week.month...

And the few times we have 'scuffled' we're usually laughing about it 5 minutes later.

We're both really calm people, and have been in enough long term relationships to know how to take on any situation or conflict.

we argue about what we are going to eat for dinner , its a constant battle, and its a rediculous one for that matter! lol
we also argue about chores, he always yells at me for not keeping my desk clean and i leave my stuff everywhere, and i yell at him cause he's TOO OCD and i can't take it sometimes lol

we never argue about money , not yet anyways...
