What a way to start a day and my DH is so GREAT!!!

So this morning I decide to go to Starbucks, first time in a long time, and invest in a venti iced coffee. I proceed to go to the bagel store and then head home. I forgot to pick up my mail yesterday from my mailbox (I live in an apartment complex), so I pick up my mail and head inside. I proceed to 'balance' my venti iced coffee on top of the mail because my hands were full. As soon as I get into my living room... BAM.. there goes my iced coffee.. all over my light tan carpet!!!! I awake DH with the words F***, my coffee.. my coffee.... he rushes into the kitchen to get papertowels and helps me clean the stain. As I am cleaning, beating myself up, calling myself every name in the book... he proceeds to calm me down and tells me he loves me.. I love my DH!! By the way, the carpet thank goodness is not stained!! We got it all out!!! I still have to stare at the wet spot on the carpet though until it dries....
What a way to start a day!!

Ugh... that suxxxxx... Glad you didn't ruin your carpet... but boooo for not being able to enjoy your Starbucks!!!

I actually bought a steamcleaner for our ivory wall-to-wall carpeting after a similar incident....

takes a LONG time to get the stain out
