How is marraige different than how you had expected it to be?

Its a good thing....but I never realized how much concious comminication there needs to be!!!!!!

its also a lot more LAUNDRY then I ever had expected.

Well after living with DH for 5 years...i never thought we'd start out our married life living in separate states!!! (last minute opportunity)

But emotionally there definitely is a deeper sense of commitment than just living together...even though we both were totally committed. That was surprising...but i think it had to do with us writing our own vows & truly expressing it on our wedding day.

I feel like I have a new found respect for DH since we got married. I always respected him, but I find myself going out of my way more now to make sure that he is happy and has what he needs.

We also have been communicating a lot better tha we used to. (Thanks to tips we received from pre-cana).
