Are you doing a photo TY? Plain card? I'm thinking about getting a photo card (the kind with the watercolor effect) but then I thought that maybe I should get TY's that match my invitation which was very simple and engraved. Do people like getting the ones with pictures?
If you got the photo cards, where did you get them? My photographer will do it, but I want to see if I can get a better price.

I wasn't originally going to get the ones with the picture but so many women have commented to me about how they like them and expect them.
I was planning on ordering a set number (50) but giving them to family and close friends. IL's friends and distant relatives I might just do a plain thank you. I don't want to order them, have to round up and have 30 extras of the same pic.

Snapfish does them and they are a cheaper than my photographer.

Yes, people like getting a photo. I've ALWAYS gotten a photo, except for the most recent wedding we went to. They used the cards that matched their invites, but didn't include a photo. I thought that was silly because I really don't care what the thank you card looks like, but I'd at least like to have a small photo from the wedding

I did a thank you card from Shutterfly. I really like how it came out and I know it was cheaper than my photographer.
we just bought basic ty cards from michaels in the wedding section, and then included a pic of us in the card. it was one my mom took, so we just got copies made at walmart at the digital photo thing... and we had a lot of people tell us how nice it was to get a picture

We ordered regular Thankyou cards from our photographer that say 'thank you' on the cover and inserted a 4x6 pic of us from the wedding.

We ordered the regular Thank you cards from our photographer that say 'thank you' on the front. Our picture was in the front as well as, a beautiful picture of a flower, a dove and two wedding bands in the front. We inserted a a wallet size picture that the photographer took. It looked great!
