Thinking about Jess's post about good things and knowing that a lot of girls here are struggling with some difficult things, like deaths, surgeries, illness...I wanted to help cheer everyone up as well.
What are your goals and dreams??
My ultimate career goal is to stay in litigation and become a Family Court Judge. I would be happy even working as a Court Attorney/Referee. I love the idea of helping families and I just love being in a courtroom. To me, becoming a judge would help me help more children and help re-unite families, rehabilitate delinquent children, give permanency to children who are in foster care, and comfort to children as best as I can. I want to keep learning the law and working with children.
I also look forward to eventually starting a family with DH-we definitely don't have baby fever yet, but I know having a child and being a mother will be a great accomplishment and I look forward to that one day. I want to be the best mother possible and I hope to be able to stay at home for at least 4-6 months. Fortunately, family law will allow me to combine my dreams of being a successful attorney and a great mother.
I also would like to either move to Florida or buy the home that we are in and make some improvements. And I would love to be financially comfortable, as well as healthy. I also want a healthy family!
My last goal is to open a no-kill animal shelter and save unwanted pets!

I have to say you have some great goals and Im sure you will accomplish all of them !!
My goal is to raise my children the best I can and try to teach them to help make this a better place to live in !!
I would also love to one day work as an EKG technician in a hospital !

my ultimate career goal is to be a professional photographer (have my first wedding job 8/8/08).
personal goals - * to continue to have a happy/healthy relationship with dave (almost 6 years!) * to get in shape (one other than round would be preferable)... * to have children & be the mother i know that i can be
dream goals - to hit the lotto so that i can be free of debt, buy a house and pay off my brothers' college loans..

To be COMPLETELY honest, I only have small goals that deal with the immediate future...
at the moment, my girlfriend and I are in the process of starting a non profit organization involving children and art.

*I really want to excel at my job. I work for the government and honestly I can do mediocre work and barely get by here if I wanted to. I NEVER want to be like that - I want to always excel and move up and improve every single day!
*I want to buy a house with DH.
*If DH and I decide to have children in the future, I want to be a great mom.
*I want to drive on highways and to new places without fear
*I want to be 100% anxiety and panic attack free!!!!

Awww,, Michelle...I will open the shelter with you!!! I think you will achieve what you set out to do...you have drive! (even if you are lazy...haha...just kidding!)
1.) For DH to get a *&^%#$@ job already 2.) Get a house of our own...or buy out my family & expand the one we are in 3.) Get my business to really become successful, so i can donate my time & talents to places like animal shelters or orphanages...would love to set up scholarships for underprivileged kids to be able to take a martial art..it's such a confidence & character builder for kids

im so looking forward to finishising my doctoral program in Clinical Psych, getting licensed and starting to practice. hope to eventually have my own practice.
buy a home!!
move down south. live on the water.
would love to open a christian ministry or clinic or something w/ my friend (who also has MD and is a Christian counselor) for people with disabilities.
really want a family! hope the Lord blesses us with children.
would love to travel a few places- ive never been outside the U.S.- def italy, ireland, etc.
try my best to glorify God as much as possible in this life!

We are also working towards getting sponsors to support free art classes and trips for these kids who have participated in our launch.

Right now there is sooo much going on that we just cant get out of the shadows Its disheartening bc there was a time when we were good in every sense and right now there is SO many things holding us from doing what we want...after this non sense calms down-a house and a family SOON after

Relatively short term goals here too ...
* To do whatever it takes for me to be healthy again! I'm sick and tired of living with pain and going to doctors.
* To buy a house really really soon. In the ideal world that's in my head, it will happen this summer. For my own sanity, I NEED to be out of this apartment by the end of 2008.
* To continue to grow my business a little bit more each and every year. I love what I do, and I hope we can continue our successes.

-to get out of the little money rut we found ourselves in this year..(we're almost there!) and REALLY start a substancial savings plan
-to be successful...in whatever area God leads me. In my perfect world, i really want to be successful in the entertainment industry and have the money and publicity to make a difference in this crazy world..
-to be a mommy and have a family with my wonderful husband
-have a successful marraige & to live a long healthy life with my husband..stay faithful to each other and set prime examples for our children...i hope to be the kind of mother my mom was to me...and i hope our marraige is something others look up too..
..and last but not least, to TRAVEL. There are so many places josh & i would love to see and experience together.
