Thinking about Jess's post about good things and knowing that a lot of girls here are struggling with some difficult things, like deaths, surgeries, illness...I wanted to help cheer everyone up as well.
What are your goals and dreams??
My ultimate career goal is to stay in litigation and become a Family Court Judge. I would be happy even working as a Court Attorney/Referee. I love the idea of helping families and I just love being in a courtroom. To me, becoming a judge would help me help more children and help re-unite families, rehabilitate delinquent children, give permanency to children who are in foster care, and comfort to children as best as I can. I want to keep learning the law and working with children.
I also look forward to eventually starting a family with DH-we definitely don't have baby fever yet, but I know having a child and being a mother will be a great accomplishment and I look forward to that one day. I want to be the best mother possible and I hope to be able to stay at home for at least 4-6 months. Fortunately, family law will allow me to combine my dreams of being a successful attorney and a great mother.
I also would like to either move to Florida or buy the home that we are in and make some improvements. And I would love to be financially comfortable, as well as healthy. I also want a healthy family!
My last goal is to open a no-kill animal shelter and save unwanted pets!

My goals are like Carolines, immediate future, really I want DH and I to be comfortable. Right now there is sooo much going on that we just cant get out of the shadows Its disheartening bc there was a time when we were good in every sense and right now there is SO many things holding us from doing what we want...after this non sense calms down-a house and a family SOON after

that's the main one...
i would also like to further my education and get my doctorate, but that can wait....
and to stay afloat financially... not to have lots of meaningless crap, but to be able to pay the bills and still have some left over to save and enjoy life a bit.
the more 'frivilous' things would be building our dream home in Ireland, traveling often, and doing some remodeling on our new house.

Awww,, Michelle...I will open the shelter with you!!! I think you will achieve what you set out to do...you have drive! (even if you are lazy...haha...just kidding!)
1.) For DH to get a *&^%#$@ job already 2.) Get a house of our own...or buy out my family & expand the one we are in 3.) Get my business to really become successful, so i can donate my time & talents to places like animal shelters or orphanages...would love to set up scholarships for underprivileged kids to be able to take a martial art..it's such a confidence & character builder for kids
