One of mine is this little book kiosk that is on the West end right off the 72nd Street station. I love books and they have new ones and used ones-all between $1.50 and $3.00 I got ten books last week for 15 bucks. Since I devour pop fiction but hate paying 8 bucks a book, its my little treat each time I am on that side of town.
I also love the sunshine on my face during lunch while I sit on a chair in Bryant Park or on the stoen steps of the library.
I love gettign text messages from DH that just say 'I love you.'
I like hearing children laughing and seeing them happy with their parents. makes me smile.

They will come up to me and sit on my lap or sit next to me...just looking for a little attention.

DH picks our DD up from day care almost every day. I get home after them and when she hears me come in the door, she comes running for me & she opens her arms for a hug. It melts my cold cold heart.
She did it when she was crawling too & it was so funny. She's come full speed & tuck her little head down to get more speed

My simplest pleasure is my first cup of coffee in morning, and even better, on weekends when I can hang in my PJ's with DH and drink out of my big purple mug

i work right up the block from central park and i LOVE going there during my lunch hour.
I love people watching, taking a stroll, or jsut laying out on the lawn. I really enjoy seeing people play frisbee or soak up the sun. i get a kick out of thinking that we are all happy to be in the park.
i LOVE walking around our neighborhood in Belmar. esp. at night during the summer. I cant even describe how GOOD i feel. i once walked down our street, my face pointed up to the sky and i literally stretched out my arms to take it all in. it was a great day!
and i love it when dh is with me during these moments. we love walking the boardwalk or the beach together.
this is what makes me sooooooooooooo happy!

I need to visit you in Belmar Closest thing we get to water is the community pool that fills teh air with the scent of chlorine lol. I WANT to go to the shroe this summr with DH! That is a goal. We have never been together.

For me it's my dog - I love taking long walks with him or taking him to the dog park. We have this huge park by our house and if it's nice on the weekends, DH and I will take the puppy for a walk on the trails. That is my favorite.

Simple pleasure: sleeping in late with Scott, my gossip filled mags which used to be $1.99, and either a hot or iced coffee with tons of cream and 2 or 3 Splenda

Simple pleasure...going to the beach in the evening with DH & watching the sunset...spending time with my new nieces & nephews (DH & I are watching our 8 year old niece tomorrow)...cooking dinner with DH & then sitting down to enjoy a nice romantic dinner....when DH rolls over in the morning & he gives me a hug...hearing a child laugh.

Aww the first time I smell the fresh spring air.
Hearing the birds in the amm when I can just lay there (non work day)
Lil surprises from DH.
Driving in my car w the sunroof open, nice day and a great song playing.
Seeing my niece and nephews and hearing them all call me 'Ba'... all started with the first one who is now 16 !!! Yikes...
and randomly enough a clean house, I have a lil bit of ocd w that...
