What did you do or what are you doing for your First Anniversary? Mine is coming up and my husband HAS to work. So we are doing something the Friday before. Unfortunately, we can't go away for the weekend right now. that was my first choice. So whatever we do it has to be local. I need some suggestions?

we ordered in & had a nice night at home! it was actually really REALLY nice we lit candles everywhere, tunred off all the phones & had dinner..snuggled up on the couch & watched all the holiday movies that were on..later we had our cake & of course some newlywed lovin' lol

we havn't talked about it yet. if we have extra $$ maybe a short trip. otherwise we will prolly have a nice dinner.

we went to dinner on our actual anniversary at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse--omg sooooooooo good. a little $$ but totally worth it.
we didn't really do gifts--we just bought tix for a concert a few weeks later as our 'gift'

You'll love the Bronx zoo. It's great and my favorite time to go is fall. It's not as crowded then.

Stayed in the City for the wknd - fancy restaurant and than the second night went to a casual Live Jazz restaurant. Spa treatments, shopping and Walks in Central park.
