After paying for the wedding we had very little $ left, so it helped replace some of that money that we'd spent on the wedding. We haven't used the wedding $ to buy any one thing in particular.

We paid for our wedding with it, since we were paying for our wedding ourselves..

Went on a mini honeymoon to the city

We paid for our wedding and all the events leading up to it (with the exception of bridal shower & bachelorette/bachelor parties). We put the money into various CDs. We didn't lock it all into one CD since we knew we'd most likely need some right away (which we did).

We spent it on stuff we needed for our apt. etc.

while we paid for our wedding, and could use the money, we are going to invest it in a no-load (tax free) municipal bond. It's a bit safer than other equally aggressive investments. we'll let it grow a bit and then use it for a down payment on a house or condo, depending on where we end up.

We still have it,but DO NOT touch it! We ALONE payed for our wedding ourselves in cash,so there's NOTHING due,except to pay 300 bucks to pick up our wedding video. We're done!! Have to be honest though........times are REALLY tough with my husbands business', so we may have to rely on some of it to pay off what my husbands deceased partner left him in debt. Can't pay the the over 180,000.00, but atleast we can try and catch up. Yeah, you heard right. 180,000.00. Thank god for certain family members, mine and his, for helping out every little bit they can. Cause at this point.........every little bit counts.

we paid off our wedding (since we paid it ourselves) and now a decent chunk of it is being used to pay for renovations to our condo.

we opened an account just for that $ and recently just closed the account to use it to pay for a vacation for our 1 year anniversary!

DH and I put the money into a savings account for 6 months and then used it for the down payment on a house.

Honeymoon, paid off bills, photo album extras etc

its our 20% down on our house..close in 2 weeks so we put it in a 60 day CD and it made about $350

we have most all of it it in ING, trying to save up for a house when we move back to NY in two years
