i feel terrible that people gave me so many and i just have them in a nice photo box.... and that i should really organize them somehow! just looks like alot of work! i got about 1200 proofs and then about 1000 pics from all different people which i really appreciate... but do i really have to make albums out of all of them? i mean how many albums can you have? am i being an ingrate?

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

While we were on our HM, my mom and my sister took all of the table camera pictures and guest pictures and put them into two big binders. They got photo sleeves and you can add or take away as many as you like.

It's so great and I was so glad I didn't have to do it myself

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

The best of them are going to go into a scrapbook that I'm working on. The really dark/fuzzy/not sure what they were taking a pic of ones are going in a regular photo album.

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

Oh Betty - can i have your mom and sis?
I could only WISH! What kind of phot csleeves are they? Can I get them at like Michael's or something? Sounds like a good idea! Thanks!
Misty - I would love to scrap mine too but dont know where to start! Maybe in time I won't be so overwhemled! My table cam pics aren't that great... mostly dark and fuzzy. But the pics from family / friends are really good so I'll have to tackle this soon!

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

I am totally overwhelmed. I have so many pictures that I am lost really.

I have just decided to do them in a heirarchy of sorts. Going in order of the day, and then weeding out the really bad ones..or 'empty' ones. I'm going to widdle them down to what is scrapbook acceptable and then work from there!

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

I took all the salvagable table camera pics, and pics received from family & friends and organized them in order from the beginning of the day to the end.
So then as I came across the section say, of cake cutting, where there were a kerbillion pics, I saved the best ones and any that were different. Tossed the rest. I put them in a photo box with the individual hanging mini albums that I had gotten as a Christmas gift.

My proofs are in two nice leather slip in albums.

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

its seems alot of brides had problems with thier table cameras. I will admit, the pictures arent the best but we did get some good ones.

Were your pictures bad because people forgot to use the flash or was the camera crap? I would advise future brides that if they need to cut corners, this would be one area!!

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

It's too much work to organize all of them. Just when I do have them organized I'll have someone else send me some pictures that they took. So I just put them all in an album in particular order. When I get my proofs back from the photographer I will put those in order and in a nicer album.

And I still have pics to get developed from the table camera's...LOL

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

Truthfully, alot of my table camera pics were not worth keeping at all. They were either very dark or fuzzy. I don't think it had anything to do with the flash, and I bought the best Kodaks cameras I could get.

The thing with disposables is this, the flash doesn't reach very far. Maybe 4-6 ft tops. So people trying to take pictures of us dancing from their seats will not come out. However, all closeup pics of people or things, etc. came out fine. Eeven great in some instances.

Re: what did you do with your loose wedding pix form family and friends?

I put them all in albums. I bought albums and put all our wedding pics from family and friends in them. I want all our pics displayed in albums to preserve our wedding memories.
