What did you do with your wedding cards?

I am looking for ideas... I am thinking about cutting them apart and gluing them in a book I bought.

Re: What did you do with your wedding cards?

Right now they are just in a drawer. I would like to buy one of those special albums to put them in.

Right now they are in a plastic bag, but I'm hoping to get one of these albums for the cards.

Re: What did you do with your wedding cards?

I kept all our cards and envelopes and put them in a box. I'm a pack rat! I can never cut them up to make a collage. I call it our 'wedding scrapbook box.'

Re: What did you do with your wedding cards?

I did the same as Stacey!

I didn't cut any of the really sentimental cards that were given to me - the rest were really just signed by guests, so they didn't mean too much to me. Any cards with any writing or from an immediate family member I keep INSIDE the box

Ours are in a shopping bag in the closet. It's one of those things I want to do something with and never get around to.

BriarRose....I did the same thing! oops!
We were in Italy when we got most and needed all the packing room we could get....
I had to toss them...

Now I feel bad seeing what you ladies did (and are going to do) with yours...

Oh well.....

Re: What did you do with your wedding cards?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...If you are going to 'glue' your cards to anything, make sure the glue is acid free and/or archivial quality. This will ensure that the glue won't turn yellow over time. If you really want to preserve your cards, Michael's sells a spray called 'Archivial Mist' (I think that's what its called). It seals the paper so it won't fade and basically makes it acid free. Its a little expensive so take your 40% off coupon from sunday's paper.
