I had a great Christmas. I got a lot of clothes, sneakers, boots, some place settings of my china, things for the house, candles....I also got the Lenox figurine of Lady and the Tramp that I've been wanting
(ETS: Just got back from the IL's house and I got a coach bag and wallet, another place setting, JLO Still, Lenox Mickey and Minnie, Estee Lauder Beautiful, Armani Sensi, ornaments, Origins pedicure and reflexology set, and 2 shirts)
John had hidden in my stocking an envelope that said

I got a spa gift certificate, aromatherapy candles, a hundred gift cards to Lowe's and Home Good stores for our new house, money, some stuff leftover on my wedding registry (Henckels knives, my pots and pans), a cashmere sweater from my MIL, ornaments, a new watch, a Dicken's village, and some other things. The cutest thing was DH put in my stocking Parent's magazine and a little rubber duckie to save for the baby-I thought that was so sweet

the coolest VS pj's, a PS2 game, Say Anything and Grease on DVD, a slow cooker cookbook, deluxe Scrabble w/the board that spins, cookware, clothes for work.
but the BEST gift - the joint decision that DH and I made on Christmas Eve that i can no longer deal with Corporate America and that i can quit and go back to school for teaching. that gift alone makes me feel like a HUGE weight has been lifted. it will require us to practice some serious financial responsbility, but it will all be worth it!!! we kept ourselves to a tight Christmas budget this year and everything work out perfectly!!!
congrats Karen !! I hope to do the same this year (after work though...at night)....I can't stand corporate america anymore either.
I got a few gift cards to Old Navy and Pier One, a mantle clock and a jewelery box from Bombay Co, a sweater, the American Idol game lol, a few more things...DH and I are exchanging tomorrow. We are at my MILs in NC and couldnt bring our gifts on the plane.

I got a Beautiful Pearl and Gold Necklace and Braclet (picture doesn't do it justice) it has delicate gold balls and pearls, a digital camera (yeah!), a champange (s?) diamond ring, a big gift certificate to lowes, candles, Sears gift certificates gosh so much I can't even remember so early in the moring.
Santa was way too good to me this year....he went against our deal and totally blew me away!!!! (we were only supposed to buy small this year....)
I got this swiss army watch that I saw in Switzerland and really wanted....
I also got a pave diamond heart necklace that I can't find a picture of....it's beautiful
and then I got some yummy dyptique candles, a beautiful photo album, and a wood plaque with 'The (insert your last name)' to signify the house we hope to buy this year....
AW! I had such a great Christmas!!!

What great gifts we all received this Christmas...I must say, we are VERY LUCKY girls!!!
My DH gave me gorgeous diamond earrings!!! And, a hat and scarf from Ann Taylor Loft, a book, and yesterday he took me shopping at the Crossings outlets!!! I bought a few warm up suits, a pair of sneakers, two pairs of timberland shoes, and two sweaters from Ann Taylor!!!!
From various family members I received more sweaters, a robe, a Godiva basket filled with lots of goodies...a DVD/VCR player from my mom!!!...gift certificate to Pottery Barn, a pocketbook, Yankee candles, and some scrapbooking stuff to get me started scrapping!!!
My niece also framed a great black and white pic of me and my DH from our wedding!!!!

I was totally spoiled, too I thought Paul would be the one spoiled the most, but I did okay myself!
DH gave me: A custom Mat cutter for framing some proofs and photos; A crop station/craft storage system and lots of crafting supplies Rachael Ray's cookbook William Sonoma odd sized measuring cups and spoons; William Sonoma chocolate mint tumbles (yummy!) Season One of Friends on DVD; Victoria's Secret lotions; A diamond and sapphire bracelet (I said spoiled, didn't I?) A massage/facial gift certificate...and, on the day I choose to use it, he promised to take off of work, babysit Paul, do the housework AND cook me a beautiful dinner all by himself! He's the best!!
From family, I got: A Perlina black leather backpack bag A red leather pocketbook w/matching leather gloves; A crock pot w/cookbook (I wanted this!) Two cookie press machines - one is cordless; A new wool dress coat and some cash!
I feel so loved, blessed and spoiled!

I got a gorgeous cuddly robe from Victoria's Secret, two sweaters, four cross stitch charts, a floor lamp (to stitch by), gloves, ear muffs, a book on vegetable gardening, South Park Season 1 and 2 on DVD, the first season of ER on DVD, Philosophy shower gel and body lotion, an electric tart warmer (for those candle tarts), cannisters for my flour, sugar, etc., and two Department 56 houses from the Dickens Village (to start our collection).
Santa was very, very good to me!
ETS: I also got a place setting of our China, a place setting of our silverware and a soup bowl. And our friends are sending us to see The Producers.

Everyone's gifts sound wonderful!
I think I was on Santa's 'good' list this year. Rob (oops, I mean Santa) got me gorgeous diamond earrings, a coach pocketbook, 4 Gap turtlenecks (I live in them), a heart rate monitor/stop watch (wanted this for my running days), books (3, including the new one by Jodi Picoult, which I started) and yankee candles and a new cell phone. Plus, a whole bunch of stocking stuffers!
From family ... I got a GC for a massage, Yankee candles, the skip doctor (I needed this), more turtlenecks, a phone set (two cordless phones and a base phone with answering machine .... love this gift), stuff for our bar, Tiffany silver earrings, tickets to see the Lion King, and lots of cashola!

We're all sooo loved
John and I didnt get eachother bags of 'junk' that we can buy any day... we decided to 'wean' ourselved from that We bought our new digital camcorder. I got a new JNY down jacket. He's getting my my preggo photos studio day, which I CANT WAIT for and family portraits, which Ive been wanting to do. He also wants me to pick out any piece (or pieces) of jewelry from 'the kids' I can be picky with jewelry so he doesnt waste time buying it without me. I also got jewelry last year from my little guy. We're going to see any Broadway show of my choice. (with all these shows out, I just wanna see PHANTOM for the 3rd time!! - someone talk me out of it!) From family I got a new Swatch watch, which I wanted, money, ornaments, candles, frames. JA got tons of toys, clothes, money, bonds, more clothes and more money. The baby also got lots of gifts.

I got a beautiful silver bracelet from Gianna!! And I got the 2 Giusseppe Armani statues I was eyeing up from Joe, plus a Swarovski (I collect them) baby carriage!!! Plus a bunch of Bath & Body stuff and other goodies!!!!

DH is taking us to florida in february finally insured my ring as part of my gift(e-ring) and got me some bath and body works stuff. We didnt go all out on gifts b/c of the new furniture
his mom got us 8 of my water / wine goblets from lennox and an artisan stock pot and my parents gave us cash

Hmmm... from DH, let's see, I got clothes and sneakers from DH and some stocking stuffers! I REALLY needed clothes so I gave him a list of just that, he did good. It's his first Christmas buying me clothes! He was very nervous about it! lol

Wow everyone seems to have had a great christmas! My Hubby got me a laptop which I am using right now, its taking some getting used to though, the mouse is so annoying!!! I also got an mp3 which I have no idea how to use!

From hubby I got the three stone diamond/ white gold necklace I've been eyeing, a black 3quarter length puffy down coat, a VS nightgown, Shania Twain cd and perfume.
From parents: 500 in cash (for both of us to share :( haha.. and some new beaded throw pillows for the living room.
From inlaws: a few sweaters, new HP printer, Gift Cert to ann taylor, several bottles of Long Island wines, bath and body stuff, drapes, xmas ornaments..
Other relatives: Pier one serving platter, a couple of neat trivets, pilsner glasses, Linens n things Gift cert, Sephora Gift cert, more cash..

A Box of Crackers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Club crakers in the green box) uhmm What?
His grandma gave it to me, pulled of the price tag and wrapped it. Strange gift, but reminded me to be grateful for the little things. Still don't know WHY I got a box of crackers other than she knows i eat them to snack on. Go figure!

I was totally spoiled...Al got me the waterproof housing for my digi camera (my last camera was ruined at the beach) and a gorgeous diamond pendant necklace. Its baggettes and princess cut stones. I'll have to take a picture - I absolutely love it!
