I love that bowl - Nature's Splendor - where do you purchase their products?

They're actually Lenox products. You can get them from their catalog.

The best things I got that I registered for that I use all the time is my Stand Mixer and my Sabatier Knife... I registered for the retro toaster oven & I haven't used it once,... what do you use them for, I don't know.

Clueless

Riedel make wine glasses - we got every single one!! Eight different ones - bordeaux, burgundy, chianti/red zin, chardonnay, ...and single malt, port, cognac and water glasses

We collect and drink a lot of wine, but we also entertain a lot and these are awesome glasses for serving wine. A set of six runs about $90, but really worth it.

Thanks! I loved them too. I registered for them in Fortunoff. I want to get the bowl and tumblers too. I didn't realize they had cake plates!

VickiC - I think they actually have a cake-dome too! That's next on my list. My stepmom gets me a piece for every occasion (one for my shower, one for the wedding, one for my bday, etc.) - I'm hoping to get the cake dome for our 1yr anniversary! I didn't know they had tumblers - Have to add that to my list

Meg - where does your stepmom find all of this? I know at Fortunoff I can only find a few items.

Edited to say: They have a basket too. This is from the Lenox Website.

She gets the catalog. I think they send it to her on a regular basis ever since she bought the first piece from Macy's or Fortunoff's. I've never seen the basket before - It's adorable!

For those who have the KitchenAid mixer - I want one just b/c I love the way it looks, and I can't imagine what aside from cake mixes I will use it for.

What do you you guys use the KitchenAid mixer for?

My mom used to use her kitchenaid mixer all the time (well she was a baker). She would make pizza dough, cookies and they have all these attachments for pasta, meat grinder, juicer and some more I can't remember. That is one of the things I am hoping I get at my shower. I have been dying for one for years.

MY favorite shower gift was
MY kitchenaide YELLOW mixer!!
I usually make desserts for the holidays and it comes in handy,
but thats all I have used if for thus far,
but I think in the years to come when I start experimenting more and learning more I will use it more.

I dont cook all that often yet.
But it still is my favorite gift.

Its easier then pulling out the hand mixer, and with bowl included.

and I agree with Gabrielle, I love the way it LOOKS!!!

I dint register for anything not useful I dont think,
I was not good at registering,
but which is good bc some Things I just dont see the point of,
so it work for me!!

It's hard for me to answer this question, 'cause I'm the one whose still waiting to move in with my DH!!!

BUT.... I have to say one of my favorite shower gifts and the one I wanted most was the Kitchenaid Mixer. I got the BIG model. But I bake and also want to learn to make bread and stuff, so I just know I'm going to use this at least once a week.

Another one I'm looking forward to using is the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker. I hear they are great!! Yummy!
