What did you throw outside of your church?

Rice is bad because the birds get sick from eating it, or the guest can slip and fall.

We didn't throw anything - we did bubbles

the few people who actually TOOK a throw threw the heart shaped rice. (at least we got one picture with the rice in it.)

We did bubbles when they were a *new* thing to do. They look really nice in our pictures and video.

My church didn't allow us to throw anything, we could only use bubbles, but I didn't want to use them I was afraid of stains.

So I used rose petals and heart shaped rice

we threw birdseed, but it was a white seed. it was bigger than regular seed, and let me tell you, that stuff hurt! i would not recomend it. but regular bird seed might be better. we also wanted to do bubbles, but were worried about staining as well.

We couldn't throw any thing so I ordered ribbon wands to wave. they came out great in my pics.

I did bubbles - I like it and not staining to report - supposedly they are safe.

Almost all the weddings I recently have gone to have done heart shaped -'safe' rice.

We were suppose to have butterflies, but they couldn't get to us on time- FedEx apparently had the wrong arrival date so we had rose petals.

We had biodegradable white heart shaped rice...it hurt and my niece's were ate their whole packet before I even left the church...

It was everywhere that night when I took my gown off! It was quite funny!

wedding rice...it's safe for wildlife, and it crushes if you step on it, so you cant slip on it. It was great!

WE weren't allowed to throw anything and we figured bubbles would be messy and too cold to handle in February so we didn't do anything
