Rice is bad because the birds get sick from eating it, or the guest can slip and fall.

Nothing at all. I didn't want people throwing anything at me. I kept telling my photographer that there would be not throwing of anything at my wedding - not after the ceremony, no garter, no bouqet - NO THROWING
