What dish do you prepare the best?

I can make a salad ---- that's it!
I'm good at using the microwave, too, as long as DH cooks the food.

hmmm I don't know, I'd have to ask DH what his faves are so far. I know he really likes my stuffed peppers and stuffed tomatoes...

Ok now I'm hungry! If you would not mind, I's love your recipe for stuffed peppers. Dh likes my vodka shrimp dish. It's something that Racheal Ray would make since I cheat with a can of vodka sauce & peeled and cleaned shrimp .

OK there's *1* dish that's my specialty, its an amazing Potato Au Gratin with chunks of ham, about 4 layers of sliced potatoes, in a gooey cheese sauce. Its about 30 minutes of 'prep' then it cooks itself to cheesy perfection. That, with a salad, is my best dish. BUt who cares about the salad really....

DH does all the cooking...i tried to make Christmas cookies and they came out more like batter so i turned it into a cake thing...i blame my parents for never getting me the Easy Bake Oven...one thing i wanted for Christmas from Santa & never got!!!

hmmmm.. well, I AM the foodie... so there are a few contenders

I just made some ROCKIN' ethiopean food tonight... I toasted my own berbere mix (mix of spices) and then made tibs wat (beef in a hot pepper sauce), a garlic-y lentil paste, and good ol' collard greens, oh and injera (that squishy spongy bread) :-P

DH told me I make Fab turkey-day food.... roast turkey, homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce with pear and dried fruits.... I guess that could be his vote

I think my vote for my best dish would be iranian food, believe it or not. I was taught by a little old iranian woman years ago. I got the official thumbs up from several iranians and afghans for my gourmet sabsi (lamb stew with fresh herbs) and my lima bean rice....
