What do you do for your Hubby's B-Days?

Hi.

I feel like I am so not creative anymore.

MY DH's B-Day is 5 days after Xmas and I am usually not in the best of financial shape or the right creative frame of mind.

what do you guys do for your hubby's?

I usually do the dinner/dancing thing.

Re: What do you do for your Hubby's B-Days?

DH's Bday is 12/21, he turns the BIG 3-0 this year so i want to do something bigger than our traditional dinner, drinks, dancing.

When he turned 25 I gave him a mini surprise party at a restaurant. All his friends were there and I had someone sing happy birthday to him. He was sooooooooo surprised. That's an idea.

Re: What do you do for your Hubby's B-Days?

I just took my DH this past weekend to Philadelphia for his birthday. We stayed in a great hotel and went to dinner at Morimotos (my DH has been talking about it for a year) - its owned byt the Iron Chef from the food network- he was there and signed our menus and took a photo with us - we had a great time and it was a great way to celebrate! He's so hard to buy for so this was a great alternative! If you check out www.gophila.com they have some great deals and it's a great city to visit!

My DH's birthday is two days before mine so we always go away someplace. That is our gift to eachother.

Re: What do you do for your Hubby's B-Days?

My DH B-day is on 1/27.

Every year except for last year we always do something big at a restaurant or at my house. He likes to be around people so I always invite everybody close to us. Don't know about this year though.

Re: What do you do for your Hubby's B-Days?

My Hubby is the 13th of Jan. - turning the big 3-0 this year! I'm thinking of trying to give him a surprise ski trip... although- I have to see. I just paid for most of my wedding and I'm hurting. I'd love to be able to do this for him though.. if not, def. a nice party here at a place.

Re: What do you do for your Hubby's B-Days?

hey..no poking fun at Capricorns!!!

I'm 12/28 (30!!!) and I always found that people are always in the partying mood the whole month of December...so that leaves tons of options...

this year DH is taking me to a football game btwn 2 of the worst teams (SD Chargers and Oakland Raiders) b/c our friends are coming to town...maybe a little tailgating...beer drinking...bar hopping later? who cares as long as I am having fun and with DH thats all that matters...

when we were in NY...we would do the b-day dinner thing...with all his friends...now we can't do that

Re: What do you do for your Hubby's B-Days?

My DH is very picky so I justy listen to him talk about things that he wants and I take it from there.

His B-day is 12/9 and mine is 12/26 so this year we are going to the Borgata in Atlantic City for his b-day.

I am covering all expenses (except gambling). I am also booking him for a massage and straight razor shave (he is bald) at the spa.

I have already purchased three new nighties so that I can give him lap dances (his request).

Re: What do you do for your Hubby's B-Days?

lol - Michelle - I was just going to tell Crisco the same thing 12/9 - another sag!!! PS I forgot to pass you the ski info ....I have to remember...

Edited b/c I didn't answer the question...we both enjoy good restaurants so for b-days we use it as an excuse to go to a really nice ($$) restaurant, usually in NYC. For 30th, I did a surprise party.
