Edited: I narrowed it down! I'm now looking at the subaru forester, the honda cr-v, the toyota rav4 and the nissan rogue. Any info on any of these cars would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
I'm looking for a new car and need help! I like the rav4 and test drove it today but I'm thinking it might be a little bit too much of a bumpy ride. Or maybe it was just the road I was on? If anyone has a rav4 please give me some feedback. Also they're running a great deal where I can lease it for $239/month. Whatever I get I'd like to try and stick to that price range. Last, I want something that is FWD or AWD. Please recommend your car, TIA

Re: what do you drive? I need help again
I never drove a RAV4 so I can't help you there, sorry...I drive a Honda Civic and it's a great car, reasonably priced, $20 fills it up and i have never had any problems ever with it. It's the second one I've owned lol (first one was totaled in an accident ).

I have a Nissan Xterra. It gets terrible gas mileage lol. I love the truck, but hate the gas mileage.

I drive an '09 Corolla but I see that you're selling that type so you probably don't want it. It does handle really well in the snow though.

It's not that I don't like my corolla. We had some good times together. But she's 10 years old and I want something new. I guess because she's so old she is NOT good in the snow. Laverne ends up every where else but the road. Oh, Laverne is her name.

I know what you mean about needing something new. You should go test drive a bunch of stuff. Good luck!

I just traded in my 08 civic for a 09 CRV ((more room for baby)) and I LOVE it! .. smooth ride, awesome gas mileage, and its like $23 to fill. I did love my civic, and if i wasn't a mama i would have kept her =) ... DH has an altima and we like that car too, altho its not as good on gas mileage.

about how much is it to fill up the cr-v if you don't mind me asking? I know gas prices fluctuate I'm just asking for the average

I just got it about a week and half ago, and I'm in jersey, prices are like $1.75 a gallon, and it costs me $23 to fill ... It seriously drives like a tiny car, yet you have so much room.. I really love it.

I am in the market for a car too. I am going with a used Jeep. It's 4 wheel drive. I figure we have room for 2 dogs and we can take it to the beach or go camping and off roading. I didn't want the typical soccer mom SUV. The Rav4 is very nice. My brother has one. I had a brand new VW Passat and it just bursted into flames last week.

I'm sorry to hear that. How did that happen?? Did it spontaneously combust?

Ok girls, thanks for your help. After extensive research, ok a little bit of research, I've narrowed down my search to 4 cars, the subaru forester, the nissan rogue, the toyota rav 4 or the Honda CR-V. Does anyone drive any of those cars (besides the girls who already said they did)? Also, does anyone have any car dealers they used, liked and trusted they can recommend to me?

it started in the passenger side headlights. Thank goodness I had just pulled into my driveway. DH tried to put the flames out with the garden hose, I called the fire department. I'm just glad that I'm okay and DH was home. VW are known for electrical problems.

are you looking for new/ use? lease or finance? I test drove the CRV. It was a great vehicle except that I have a problem with the seat. I went to Honda in Smithtown.

I'm looking to lease and eventually buy out. The 4 cars I mentioned are all running some kind of special

It was 4 years old. I'm so pissed! I had 10 payments left. Never again VW!
