What do you think of boudoir pics? (link fixed)

There's a bio on the nest (i dont post on there, just came across it) full of trash the dress & boudoir pics. Just curious what everyone thinks about boudoir pics.

I think some of them come out beautiful, usually the more tasteful artistic ones, and the fun ones (i saw the cutest pin up pics!), but I know Id never have the b@lls to do them (not w/o losing 20 lbs, lol). Id feel weird in front of a photog being all sexy!

I would love to do them...especially since I know DH would LOVE them of me. Unfortunately, I am not comfortable enough with my fat body to actually have them done. Maybe if I lose 60 pounds...Possible someday!

LOVE the ones of the pinup looking girl at the end. I would so do those because they were really cute and I love that whole Vargas girl look. Sexy without really showing too much skin.

I know! Me too! I loved those. My sis was a military pinup girl for halloween, her DH was a soldier. (not the clearest pic but shes in middle. she did the coolest hair style!)

30 pounds WHERE?!!! Granted Im going by your wedding photos so maybe you have gained weight since then but girl....If you still look like that, 30 pounds= you on crack! Honestly look at the blue daisy ones-they have some girls on there who had curves and then some but its all about camera angles and lighting. youre such a sweetie!! i was on a diet before my wedding; low carb, and lost like 20 pounds... i did gain some back since, but i still want to lose more than my lowest...

but yes, maybe blue daisy. i would want a woman to do it though.. ill check it out, thanks!!!!

if you want to lose more than you weighed on your wedding =CRACK. You'll disaapear. You Dh loves your curves so honestly though we all wnat to look our best, keep in mind he would probably prefer you to look like you normall do to him-because thats who he loves. Thats why i didnt do hair extensions or anything for ym wedding-because DH has never seen me with super long hair and he didnt wnat to look abck at the photos and feel he mwrried a stranger.

The bluedaisy ones are awesome. She really does classy sexy stuf. My favorites are the girl in the bed eating sweets with her blurred and the rose petal ones...HOT

i dont' think i would be comfortable enough to do it in front of a photographer---cause well...i'm a big girl.

BUT DH and i have done our own. hehe he's taken pics of me in sexy outfits and um....thensome. lol ---and he absolutely LOVES them.

I had a photographer friend of mine do some of me for DH last year. He LOVED them!

I'd like to do a different style for our 1 year anniv. I'm gonna contact BD about them. I love their work

I did my ow with a digital camera, lots pf broedom lol and my usually lingerie. DH loved em ven though they ****** cause it was me running back and forth trying to set the camera then pose. -I made him a little package to take on the road with him to 'break open in case of emergency' lol. Girls, remember this ...words from my DH...

SO true, when I feel heinous and see all my imperfections, DH doesnt see what I see. Women see every little bit of fat, every dimple and marks. Some of us know our bad areas and often try to hide them, but those might be your DH's favorite part of your body. Men just see NAKEYYY and are happy.

I think that when they're done tastefully, they can be amazing! I would totally do it for DH. The thing is that I'm by no means thin and it takes a lot of confidence to pull off the right look (meaning expressions, poses, etc) so I'd have to have a few drinks or something to do them!

I also think that it depends on your DH... see my DH LOVES lingerie and 'sexy' things like that so I think he'd really appreciate it. If he didn't like it that much, I'd never even think about it because it would almost be like a waste of money. Of course, you could always do it for yourself!
