What Do You Think of This?
Do you think it's ok to time my thank you notes to go out around beginning of Dec - so I can add in a 'Happy Holidays' message and not have to feel guilty about not doing holiday cards this year? I am not a huge holiday card person to begin with, but I am so burnt out in the past year with STD's, invites, thank you's, etc.THanks!
(It will be 4 months after wedding if I send them out then) - is that ok?

Re: What Do You Think of This?
Timing wise, I think it's okay. But, I wouldn't add in the holiday part. I think that the thank you cards should focus on the wedding (or acknowledging the gift).

if i got a thank you card around the holidays, i would find nothing wrong with it having a 'happy holidays' sentiment as well!

Re: What Do You Think of This?
I've been sending out handwritten thank you cards (basically as soon as we got the gift I sent a card), so now we have as part of our package these thank you cards, so we are going to use them as our holiday cards. So I think its a great idea!

Re: What Do You Think of This?
I asked my mom the same question yesterday, and she didn't think I should write anything about the holidays in the card. But she also thought it wasn't necessary to send a holiday card since they would be getting the thank you around the same time as the holidays.
