What do you think you'll be doing 5 years from now???

A lot can change in a year, so what do you think you'll be doing in 5 years?? Where do you think you'll be, will you have kids? New Career???


I think five years from now, I will be in a house, I'll probably have at least one child by then. Careerwise, I'm not sure, I haven't decided if I want to stay at home with my kids yet or work, and that depends on if we can even afford it.

Hopefully in a house of our own, with a job in a school district making lots more money , and maybe with a baby. Pretty much I see my life kind of the same... no major changes, except for the baby.

like you, hopefully in a house.. with a baby and a mini pug or beagle. i defiantely cant stay home with the children b/c my salary is just as integral as his. I even make more! thats an issue that is going to be difficult for us!

5 years from now our house will be renovated. We want to put an addition on. No kids here. Maybe in 5 years my daughter will have moved out by then & we will be home alone.

5 years from now I hope to have a baby and hopefully a teaching job. If I'm working then hopefully we will have a house also.

Hopefully we'll have a few kids...and our Master Bathroom will finally be finished!!!!!!!!!

In five year I hope to be one of the lucky mega millionaires spening our time travelling around the world

If that doesn't happen, I hope that we are in the planning stages of moving out of NY.

hopefully we will be in our house and have our 2 kids that we want lol. i will have gotten the courage to finally open my business and he will either be a cop in nasau or suffolk

we will be living in our dream home in Georgia raising our kids...I will be a SAHM and go back to work after they are in school full time...DH will be teaching history in the high school or college level

Great question! and I think a lot is going to change within 5 years!
I will hopefully have a house, a few kids (2), finished my masters, and have lots of pets!!!
Carewise not sure, same as you I think I will have to wait to see if I am a SAH mom.

Hopefully we'll be back in New York. by that time I hope we'll either have a baby or one on the way--but that sort of depends on our living situation. Right now we're saving up to by an apartmnet here in London that we hope we can rent out for the cost of the mortgage while we're back in New York. Who knows if we'll be able to afford to buy anything in New York, but we would like to live in maybe Forrest Hills area. I would like to be doing graphic/web design from a home office so that I can stay home with the baby.

We will hopefully be in a house wih a puppy. Maybe have a child or discuss having one (can you tell we're still on the fence about kids?).

Hopefully, DH will be teaching music at the college level and be tenured and make a bunch of $$.

I will hopefully be finished with my masters and working as a full time English Teacher...while shopping for a house and TTC our first child. It seems like a million years from now.

In five years I HOPE to have ahouse, my own practice and a couple of children!! And still be happily married!!

don't know if we will still be in our current house but I guess we will have 2 kids by then and maybe another on the way

Hopefully in a house. God only knows in what State or country (Every time my husband has a bad day. He wants to pack up everything & move back to Ireland)
And hopefully pregnant w/ baby # 3.

Have all our bills paid so I don't have to work full time anymore. My goal would be to have at least 2 kids within the 5 years.

Finished with my MBA
my store (retail) will be open either in Hoboken, Port Jefferson, the Hamptons, Savannah or Charleston.
DH will almost be able to stop working at his job to concentrate on our store full time.
We will own a home
we will have 1 or 2 kids (at least one), a greyhound and a german shepherd.

hopefully i will have at least 1 child and i would LOVE to be a SAHM but if not, I would like to be teaching or working from home.
