Sounds silly but I want to finally go out to eat! We've been saving and on a budget for soo long I can't remember the last time I was inside a restaurant with DH alone (prob not since our Honeymoon)

We don't really exchange on Valentine's Day, except for dinner and flowers it's not that big of holiday to me.

I emailed DH an email from the Melting Pot and told him I wanted to be surprised lol and he made reservations there for V-day. That and a dozen roses would make me very happy
We went there last year for Vday, had a great time! Very fun for Vday, they did like a whole Vday theme and everything!
I told DH all I want it to be massaged for an entire hour. I just want my back and feet rubbed, hopefully he will remember!

Ah, our FIRST Valentines Day together! Even while dating, it was long distance so he had to SEND me flowers and a gift instead. This year I'm just so grateful to actually be together.
All i want is a sweet gesture. I would love for him to take me out to a nice dinner, where we can get all dressed up (there's not many places like that out here, so that would be a nice surprise). And then of course Flowers always make me happy. Even those sappy gifts are the best - like candy & stuffed animals
That's it though. Nothing big.

Yeah I don't want to go to dinner ON V-day just maybe rt after or around it. I hate how they have all these pre-fix (not a fan) dinners and it usually gets super crowded.
To answer your Q - I really just like expensive chocolates

A couple of weeks ago, my DH said 'Why don't you call Rothman's and make reservations for Valentine's Day?'
It was a nice surprise.
We also went on our first date (9 years ago) in February.

Usually we dont do much for vday....its also my birthday, my dad sends me and my daughter flowers and usually DH gets us flowers as well. this yaer i made reservations at the melting pot for sunday. We only ever went out once on my bday for dinner and i was pregnant the first time and the only thing i could have on the menu was penne alla vodka so i was bummed so we're going the day after lol.

we don't do much b/c we are always trying to save for something lol I will probably cook a nice dinner and that is all. He usually sends me flowers, although i never ask him to. He is good sometimes :)

We have a tradition every year...I get flowers and an edible arrangment from Joe, and I buy: champagne, steak, corn, and crab legs for dinner. We have a yummy meal and a great dessert......It's so simple but we love it

we dont make a huge fuss over it....like we dont exchange gifts...just cards. although dh gets flowers anyway.
we just have a nice meal (either homemade or out) and just enjoy our time together

DH and I consider V-Day a Hallmark holiday so we dont really splurge or anything. We will use it as a date night though. And thats all I want.
