well i had worked in the financial market, and yeah not the greatest time so I have been open to other things but still applying to some financial jobs.
The job in brooklyn was for an office manager and many of the call backs have been for the same thing or similar.
I have been looking for a new job since the summer & only when I started applying for jobs posted on craiglist did I start to receive a couple of calls for interviews. I don't know if you have looked on there but it's worth a try. I even went to 3 recruiters & they couldn't help me.

yeah what is up with the recruiters now? I had used them previously and they were great and got me a job ASAP, my last job I got the day after I met with a recruiter. She set up the appointment while I was in her office meeting with her, the interview was for the following day and I got it the same day. Now they are the worst and getting so annoyed with all of them, i went to 4 recruiters and most were pointless and not helpful.
Yeah I have been using craigslist, one of the call backs i got recently was from an ad on craigslist. Also using monster and careerbuilder and a few other job sites.

were going to go to the baseball hall of fame, mickey mantell museam and a trip the brewery!

I think we are keeping it simple this holiday, we are going to treat ourselves to a broadway show , but thats basically it.
DH's birthday is next week , and he wants a new suit but i think im going to get him xbox360 since i know that he REALLY wants it
probably getting him an iPod---he's been asking for one since he got me my iPod touch last year!

Well hopefully I'll have a job soon to get him something lol. I had planned a while ago to get him a watch for this x-mas but the watch he wants is real expensive so I dont think that is going to happen. Even if i get a job now I wont have enough time to save for it.
He is a shopaholic and theres always clothes and sneakers he wants that he obsesses over. So I usually get him those items that he really wants.
My bigger concern is his 30th birthday which is in about 3 months so have to save for that even more and would rather spend more on that.

If I hear of anything, I will let you know. Most of my friends work in the apparel industry and hopefully I will be offered a position this week (I have a good feeling :) ) and I will keep an eye out. It's so hard out there.

A honeymoon!!! I was sick so we cancelled our original one. I feel terrible about this. So, I'm saving away!!! We'll go eventually.

that is real tough and can become a nightmare hahaha. My birthday is the day after v-day so i know my birthday is looked at being tough bc of that, and our anniversary well dating anniversary is 2 days after my bday and dh's birthday is about a week before v-day.
Usually you can get one big gift and maybe just something small for the other. As somebody whose birthday is the day after v-day i think thats perfect fine.

I want to get DH a new GPS since his bit the dust on our HM. I also want to get him some new cargo pants and some shirts.
probably clothes because he needs em so bad...or a winter jacket and some cologne
