What does everyone do for a living?

I was wondering what everyone does for a living...I know this has probably been asked a million times but I was curious.

I work for the NYCDEP as a Project Manager. I am an Environmental Engineer and I work on the construction of a Waste Water Treatment Plant.

I'm the marketing coordinator for a branded products company. My primary responsibility is to produce the catalogs, which consists of negotiating pricing with vendors, writing copy, editing, etc. I also coordinate targeted mailings and research targeted lists, coordinate bulk mailings and maintain our lists and research new ones, do inside sales, and coordinate the collegiate licensing and royalty reports. I also have to do everyone else's jobs when they go on vacation, yet when I need mere hours or a day off, I come back to a pile of work that was not taken care of for me on my desk. I do not get paid nearly enough for everything that I do.

I am Advertising Sales Account Exec..

Basically I sell the ads before the movies....

nrabobi I think we've FM'ed before but where are you again?


I used to work in the city as a buyer at Initiative and then at MTV networks as a planner for N@N/TVL but I made the move to the island and now work in internal advertising and marketing for....cablevision (don't hate...lolol)

Do you work at screenvision?

4th grade departmental teacher and Technology Coordinator :)

right now I am working at beth isreal medical center in nyc as va dietary clerk.....but I want to start looking for a new job since I went to school to be food service manager or pastry chef....I would love to maybe get into catering company and be a BM

If anyone has any idea lol let me know

I am the Asst. Comptroller/Senior Accountant for a Medical Center. But worked for 11 yrs in NYC as an Asst. Comptroller for a major production/entertainment company.

I am in Marketing for a Publishing Company. But not like Book or Magazine Publishing. Weird stuff publishing...

I am the Assistant to one of the Dean's at a local college.
I am almost done with a dual certification in Special ed/Childhood Ed. So hopefully when the market picks up, I will be a teacher

My first degree was from NYU for acting. I feel like I wasted four years of my life

I was working in assisted living before we moved to DC in Sept. I was the director of Life Guidance which is a program specifically designed for residents with Alzheimers disease. Since we moved I wasn't able to find anything, and then found out I was pregnant. I plan to be a SAHM when arrives in June.

I'm a housewife! Formerly worked in advertising/marketing in the city and I have my bachelors in Visual Communications. I like being a housewife better!

Im the School Psychologist for two High Schools

I graduated from Fordham in May and got this job two weeks after moving to Ohio directly after my HM....I havent had a break yet!! (I know I know I am very grateful!!!)

I have to say that it sounds like you all have pretty cool jobs...

I'm a CSR for a textile company...a company that makes incontenent products...

I know we have done this before but it's still fun reading about everyone's jobs!

I'm a teacher traininer - I train schools, admininstrators etc on how to teach content area classes that have English Learners in it (eg how do you tach english, math, 5th grade, etc) when you have native english speakers and non-native speakers. . but I travel pretty much ALL the time for this one so need a new job at some point bc I would actually like to LIVE with my hubby!!! I do love it though, meeting new people all the time but gets tiring!!

I'm in the Marketing Department of a consulting firm in the city. I'm in charge of meetings, events and road shows.

I'm an accountant....boring!


eta: I will say this, my sister and I are working and saving so we can have our dream job of designing clothes and opening up boutiques.
