I just bought my DH a Manny Ramirez Red Sox jersey for his birthday! Being a Yankee fan myself, it got me to thinking about the things we do for love! What have you ever done for love?

i bought DH plenty of Miami Dolphin stuff.. jersey, clothes..etc... and that is really NOT FUN..
but at least he is a MET fan .. because i would NO WAY buy him anthing that has to do with yankee's

i completely changed my life , got my sh*t together and moved 800 miles for love.

Stayed when sh*t got back, 2 months after we were married =). I know that the Lord above has a bigger plan for us. That's why I stayed

I stayed on Long Island...I met DH shortly after moving back here for financial reasons. I was only planning to live up here with my parents a few years until I got out of debt and then move back to DC. It's funny how fate works, for once in my life I wasn't even looking for a man and I found the right one.

Instead of spending all of my vacations and summer days being grossed out and BORED - I did something totally out of character . ..
i learned how to stick a sharp hook into a live worm or a dead clam - i learned how to get a fish off the hook without ripping it apart - i learned how to not care that i was COVERED in spearing scales. . . even after taking a shower. . . I learned how to hang out with a bunch of guys and pretend it was okay that they were peeing off the side of a boat with me a few feet away
I was also in the process of learning how to properly clean a fish last summer - so that will continue this year!

It has nothing to do with my husband, but my children. I have their names tattooed on both my arms. This way I know they'll be with me forever I know I'll leave this world some day, but atleast I'll have them with me always!!!

My COOKING! DH hates beans and vegetables so no more arroz con gandules, no empanadas with peppers and onions inside. Everything is PLAIN PLAIN PLAIN!!!!

I've given up pretty much going away for any weekend in the summer b/c DH plays softball every weekend from April til the end of August. just about anything I've given up for love has to do w/ DH's sports addiction!!

He asked why didn't i yell and throw a fit and i said hey i \'m bleeding and i am really not in the mindset to do anythign for you so why would i stop you from being happy?

Right now I'm supporting him through Law School, not just financially but emotionally too, and it can get hard sometimes not being with him as much as I want but it is his dream and I'm happy to be able to help give him this

I have been in training for 25 years to be an EXCELLENT Italian cook. . . and he tells me that sauce gives him heartburn!
I learned how to make more 'American' dishes. . .I haven't even had a chance to practice making my sauce!!!
