What - if anything - do you miss most about wedding planning?
I really thought I would miss wedding planning alot more, but I really don't miss it all that much. I definitely didn't go through any wedding withdrawal. But the one thing I do miss is trying on wedding gowns... even though I had such a hard time finding a gown, I LOVED prancing around in those big beautiful gowns! I still love looking at them online!

I miss the excitement and anticipation of my wedding day. I plan events for a living so I get my share of planning.

The only thing I miss is our trips to NY to meet with vendors - it was a great chance to hang out with our family.

I thought I would miss it but I didnt at all. Other stuff takes over. But I really enjoyed the whole thing (aside from paying for it)..its hard to pick what I miss most but I guess doing all the little details like invites and menus, etc. So many things Ive thought of since that would have been cool to do.

I miss the creative side of it. Looking at invitations and flowers and looking at photographer's websites and trying to imagine myself in the pics.

I miss every thing. My husband would say that he thought I was more excited about the planning instead of marrying him(NOT TRUE ). I just love the excitement and attention. I would love to do it all over again.

To be completely honest with you...nothing..I am so glad it's over..it was a lot of WORK!!

That's me exactly! I would be perfectly happy planning us a wedding every year! I should really find out what it would take to be a party planner. I think that would be the perfect job for me.

I get a little sad now as I pass by the Bridal magazines that I used to gawk over during the planning. I secretly still want to buy Martha Stewart Weddings!

I do not miss a thing. I sit back and listen to my FSIL and do not miss it. I am enjoying other things , it is true other things do take over......

Oh, me too!! My favorite was Elegant Bride and the new issue was sitting there calling to me at Barnes and Noble the other day.
The only reason I didn't buy it was because DH was with me and I knew he would give me $%*# about it because it would be an insane thing to do!!

I miss the incentive it gave me to lose weight, but that is it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I don't miss it at all.

I miss the flowers and the excitement when going to my reception hall and feeling like we own the place.

I miss booking the honeymoon. I loved looking at all the places we could go and then booking that and having it to look forward to.

I miss the dress shopping and picking out the flowers and all the other arrangements, but since my sister is getting married this November - I feel like im reliving the whole wedding process again! Its great

Maybe i am abnormal. But I don't miss a thing about wedding planning. I do miss wearing my dress, that's it. I want to wear it again!
My brothers wedding is in 2 1/2 months, maybe it's because I still have my fill of wedding stuff :) excited for him, but can't wait to be a bridesmaid and not the bride :)
