i am definetly saving mine, where, i don't know until we move, but, i remember when my grandmother died and we went through her things and found all her engagement announcements, wedding cards, honeymoon postcards, etc and it was so cool! I want to know someone will see them years from now and appreciate them in some way!

Re: What in the world did you do with...
I put all our wedding cards, extra invitations, RSVPs, extra programs, favors in one big box. I call it our 'wedding scrapbook box' as I'm very sentimental. I tied all the RSVPs in a decorative ribbon that was part of a wedding gift to keep them together in this box. I can't bear to see all my hard work, time and money to dump any of our wedding stuff. We really over estimated our invitation order and ceremony program but I put them to use. I put an invitation in our engagement photo album as well as a program on the inside. As we were sending our wedding pictures I included a program for those who were unable to attend or did not take a program. Our wedding box was our wedding scrapbook. I cannot bear to cut up our wedding cards or any paper stuff into an actual scrapbook as they are just so beautiful. Many of our guests hand wrote little wishes as 'To the Newlyweds!' or 'Mr. & Mrs. Nicholas Kurihara' and my Jr. BM's family drew a heart with 'Mr. & Mrs. Nicholas Kurihara' on the envelope. I kept all the envelopes of our wedding cards, yes I'm a pack rat and I'm very sentimental.I displayed our unity candle openly in our living room on top of our entertainment unit where it's visible to all our guests.

I chucked most of them, but kept the ones from our immediate families. It broke my heart, but I had to do it
