i cant believe 2007 is coming to an end. it went by soooo fast.
DH and I both have to work NYE , but after that we might have people over, or just get together with friends somewhere... running out of time to decide...lol
with the wedding and xmas, it just felt like i had no time to even think about NYE. as long as i get to spend it with DH i am happy!!

Hmm we are going out to a fancy dancy place that hosts weddings but is also a resturant; the Manor in NJ. Its a 2 hour seating buffet slot so we'll be there from 5-7pm. After that not sure. Maybe meet friends for drinks or something and watch the ball drop since I cant be with my family.

thats so awesome..and sounds like a lot of fun! i want to do that one year.. just go to a RH , or hotel.. and have a blast!!

keeping it low key, we're staying home! My sister and brother-in-law are coming over for a taco/pizza night NYE slumber party. We'll probably be doing this not long after the ball drops! What a bunch of old f a r t s!

We always spend midnight with our parents - where is the question this year (our place, my parents' place, or his parents' place).
We wanted to do something after midnight but I am so pooped by midnight I'm not sure I'll be up for it, lol.

DH & I are going to try and go out for dinner, catch a movie and then stop by my Mom's to play game with sis & future bro-in-law. Then head home and try to sneak past the party my friends are having downstairs (just not in the mood for a party this year). DH has to work New Year's Day so that will be our excuse to go upstairs :)

NYE is very big for us. It's like Christmas (except we're Jewish)! We have a tree, Santa Claus, presents, and about 15 people over for a 2-day party! I can't wait. DH has a 5-course menu planned. This year, the theme is '70s, so guests will get dressed up in costumes. There's a disco ball, too.

For some reason this year, none of our friends can seem to agree on what to do for NYE. I'd love to just have a party at our place, but a bunch of our friends are going upstate to party, and some others want to hit the bars (which is just too $$$ for DH and I this year). So, to be honest, I have a feeling its going to be a boring NYE for us.

WOW what time should DH and I come over?? . Just joking. Seriously that sounds like a lot of fun. I love 70's themed parties.
As of right now DH and I are having friends over. Like ever year everyone wants to hang out but everyone also wants to host. Last year we went with good friends of mine to a Chiliean restaurant in the city for dinner then we all walked to see the ball drop. We had a blast!
