DH hates veggies and i LOVE THEM... so i usually cook and put the veggies in with the meal and he has no choice to eat them... hes too lazy to pick them all out! or ill make the veggies on the side.

hes really good with trying things though so if he tries and likes it ill remember so ill make that more often.

It's probably because DH doesn't cook and knows if he didn't eat it he wouldn't be eating any dinner....and the fact that he probably had a bacon egg and cheese for breakfast and than mcdonalds for lunch!

Tonight I'm making sausage and peppers. DH eats anything I put in front of him so getting him to eat veggies isn't too hard.

Re: What is for dinner ladies?

I made flounder w/Italian breadcrumbs and lemon, roasted carrots, and brussels sprouts (cooked em in chicken broth) We needed something light and healthy tonight.
Tomorrow I'm roasting some chicken (easy!!) w/onions and potatoes.
As far as getting him to eat veggies...try cooking them in the dish (one-pot meals) or a sauce (like a cheese sauce or just melt a piece of cheese on top). Cooking them in chicken broth also gives them more flavor.

OOooOOo yum good idea. I should put a roast on my menu for this week. I've been eyeing getting a roaster as an excuse (I didn't get one with my cookware & there is an all-clad one I want
