What is one gift from your registry that you really wanted but didn't get?
There are still some things left on my registry, and one of them is my cookware set. I couldn't believe that no one got it for me! Yeah, it's expensive, but it's one of those essential items....

A bake set, with muffin tins and cookie sheets and loaf pans. It's not even very expensive. All my current bakeware sux, so I guess I'll buy it for myself one of these days.

the remainder of my china. I really thought my mom, fmil or an aunt would have bought a good amount but I ended up getting a few pieces here and there from a multitude of people. I still need to finish off the set though. It was a little disappointing but DH & I needed so much to start with that everyone bought us practical (but expensive) stuff like our cookware & bedding and stuff.

We didn't get our cookware set either. It's pricey but I know we'd have it forever. We do have pots and pans, but they are mostly from Waldbaums- you know the way you can get a 'featured' pot or pan a week? That's how I got mine back in '96 when I first got my own place and had no money. They have held up well but I want shiny new ones!
Otherwise, I think I am pretty pleased. No one got my shower curtain, but I have a BBB coupon so I may go get it myself.

mine was actually something I really needed and was so cheap that I assumed I would see it eventually....
TUPPERWARE!!
It cost $9.99 for the set of 24 I think - and no one got it for us! My current set is on it's way out with lost pieces and cracked lids - so I was really looknig forward to a nice new set! Oh well, I guess we'll just have to buy it ourselves eventually
ETA - this post just made me look at my registries again after almost a year! Wow - there's a ton of stuff I still want now that I see it!!!

The only thing we had left was flatware. we got more of it for Christmas, than for the shower/wedding, and then we bought the remaining 2 sets ourselves.

there are so many! lol I had a small shower and most wedding guests gave money.
I wish I got more china (got 2 place settings), luggage, flatware (got 3 place settings... bought the rest on ebay), and bedding.

TUPPERWARE!!
I have tupperware and I hate it. I really like the pyrex storage pieces so much better. They all fit into one another, there aren't 10,000 different sized pieces, just a few.

I have no idea!!! I almost couldn't even remember where we were registered!!!
My Target registry has disappeared Fortunoff has bad towels left that I added when they discontinued my favorite towels in the world. And I think I added the All-Clad stuff after the shower but before the wedding (and didn't really expect to get it). Nothing left on my Pottery Barn.

We got almost everything but I was really hoping we would get some curtains that we registered for because I won't spend that much on them myself. Oh well I can't complain we made out very well.

Our knives, vacuum and BBQ. But we ended up with enough returns and gift cards to buy them ourselves with the 10% discount that the stores give you for completeing your registry.

I love the pyrex pieces as well. I also love that the sets come with lids now.

I really wanted the automatic deli meat slicer. It was DH who put it on, but I think ot would have been cool. One day we'll buy it!!

We got our own silver and crystal.
No one got us any of our silver.
We got all of the really expensive serving pieces of our crystal, but only 2 flutes- NO wine glasses and NO water goblets. For the cost of those serving pieces, people could have cleared out the wine and water glasses, so I was very surpised at that!
