Mind out of the gutters girls! What i mean is whats your one (or more!) vice(s) that you KNOW are not great for you and even make you feel 'shamed' but you indulge in them anyway?
Mine are:
1. Romance novels and 'pop' fiction (as opposed to the NYT best Seller list items like Eat, Pray Love. ) I justify it because I write romance novels so he, Im just doing RESEARCH. purely for work purposes... And although I love the literary greats, there's just something about a Dean Koontz Novel that whets my whistle.
2. The L Word
I know this is a weird one, BUT my SIL and her partner love the show and we were talking about it so I decided to watch it to discuss it with them and I have to say...it is an AWFUL show. LOL its the lesbian version of Sex and the City meets a soap opera. Its raunchy and tacky and I LOVE the show because the characters totally ****** me in despite being neurotic messes that could never function in the 'real world.'
3. A spoonful of peanut butter with a healthy dollop of chocolate syrup on a spoon and nothing else.
I just like the flavors and forget about the calories....

on thursday and/or fridays, on the LIRR i buy a trashy tabloid (like OK) and drink wine in a soda cup. it makes the commute home so much more bearable. i love that i can drink cheap wine and read trashy magazines on my way home!

mine is the fact that I have EVERY single American idol performance on my ipod
all 6 full seasons from Hollywood week to the finale and when I new season starts I update it every Wednesday with the prior nights performance
weather I liked it or not..I have over 1,000 I think
is embarrassing as hell

when DH works late, and there is nothing on TV - i will go to sleep at 8PM and sleep through until work the next day. I feel like its my little secret bc if I told him he would think I was nuts. . . cant wait for his season to start so I can do this. Also, it works the other way too . . .I wake him up at 5AM and then go back to sleep - i can sleep until 3PM after that

i can take the longest showers - i even stay when the water is freezing and i am a wrinkled prune. Al Gore is going to come to my house one day and slap me for wasting water
caramel cadbury eggs.
i buy in bulk every easter and they usually last me through the summer. i have one every single night after dinner.i bite off the top and then suck out all of the caramel before eating the actual egg part. It is dangerous thought because the egg can form a vacuum and i have seriously injured my tongue doing that, i even made myself bleed!!!

LOL Tilde. DH does the shower thing too. I am usually a 5-10 minute girl tops. Doesn't take longer to wash the necessary parts and my hair.
Cadbury egg thing is hysterical. I used yto do that with herskey kisses. But now um no lol. Waistline does not agree.

The girls i used to live with thought I was missing one time. They called everywhere looking for me. Meanwhile back at the ranch I was in bed.

DH doesnt allow me to bring them in the house...and sometimes if i try and sneak it, and he finds them, he throws them away and lectures me about how unhealthy it is to eat a WHOLE BOX in one day

i have been guilty of this many times
DH doesnt allow me to bring them in the house...and sometimes if i try and sneak it, and he finds them, he throws them away and lectures me about how unhealthy it is to eat a WHOLE BOX in one day
that's so mean!! DH will actually help me polish off the box, so we rarely keep them in the house. it's one snack that just doesn't last more than a day.
