Mind out of the gutters girls! What i mean is whats your one (or more!) vice(s) that you KNOW are not great for you and even make you feel 'shamed' but you indulge in them anyway?
Mine are:
1. Romance novels and 'pop' fiction (as opposed to the NYT best Seller list items like Eat, Pray Love. ) I justify it because I write romance novels so he, Im just doing RESEARCH. purely for work purposes... And although I love the literary greats, there's just something about a Dean Koontz Novel that whets my whistle.
2. The L Word
I know this is a weird one, BUT my SIL and her partner love the show and we were talking about it so I decided to watch it to discuss it with them and I have to say...it is an AWFUL show. LOL its the lesbian version of Sex and the City meets a soap opera. Its raunchy and tacky and I LOVE the show because the characters totally ****** me in despite being neurotic messes that could never function in the 'real world.'
3. A spoonful of peanut butter with a healthy dollop of chocolate syrup on a spoon and nothing else.
I just like the flavors and forget about the calories....

when DH works late, and there is nothing on TV - i will go to sleep at 8PM and sleep through until work the next day. I feel like its my little secret bc if I told him he would think I was nuts. . . cant wait for his season to start so I can do this. Also, it works the other way too . . .I wake him up at 5AM and then go back to sleep - i can sleep until 3PM after that
I love a super sleep I usually have one once a week. My Dh works nights so sometimes I sit up and wait for him. After a few days of early mornings and late nights I am ready for my 13 hour snooze.
The girls i used to live with thought I was missing one time. They called everywhere looking for me. Meanwhile back at the ranch I was in bed.
yes one of my coworkers asked me the other day if i felt like i was 'wasting the day' by sleeping it away. . .i have never once thought of it like that!!!

i have been guilty of this many times
DH doesnt allow me to bring them in the house...and sometimes if i try and sneak it, and he finds them, he throws them away and lectures me about how unhealthy it is to eat a WHOLE BOX in one day
that's so mean!! DH will actually help me polish off the box, so we rarely keep them in the house. it's one snack that just doesn't last more than a day.
LOL same here. I love to bake (Betty and Duncan are my BFF) but DH and i can polish off an entire 24 cucpcakes in less than 24 hours....
SOOOOO they don't come into our house. I bake em and give them AWAY!

Good european style chocolate.
Ice cream and haagen daaz sorbets. Soooo good.
A good trashy novel that makes me all hot and bothered.
My quiet time. I like classical music, and can just sit with a nice cup of coffee and listed to the music and do nothing else.

TV.....my DH thinks it is a waste of time to watch so much TV. He watches about 2 shows a week, sporting events and that is it. I watch so much TV, I think sometimes it is a good thing that he is out of town so much, that way he doesn't know...

Luckily it doesn't bother hubby too much, he even went to see his tour last summer and is taking me to see him in Spamalot

Shopping is my guilty pleasure
I'm serious
I decided that I would take this year off before starting residency and that DH and I would just enjoy our first year off marriage without me being completely unavailable while working in a hospital.
Well, with me having the whole year to myself - I've been shopping like a MANIAC!!!!!!! It's not normal. I got shopping at least once a week. My walk in closet can't fit anymore clothes and I'm still shopping!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to start working so that I don't have that much time to shop.
