what kind of makeup do you use

well, i want to try a new look for the fall/winter. honestly i don't wear much makeup. problem is i do have oily/acne prone skin. so i usually stick to clinque.

anybody else have any suggestions. i have been hearing alot about bare essentials.do u know of any dept. store where they test it out on you (bare essentials)??. i have heard mixed reviews about them. i read that they make your pores look larger.

I know nothing about BE, I use Physicians formula and I get it at CVS

the only thing i use from Bare minerals is the faux tan bronzer and i like it alot.

For face i dont like using alot but i will use a benefits concealer on certain spots. Or i have this foundation from the lady who does my facials, its actually an after treatment but has a tint like foundation so can be used for that, especially good if you are having problems with your skin.

I have acne prone/oily skin and for everyday I use Benefits foundation faker and then use a mineral bronzer which doesnt make me break out. For evenings though and whenever i go out and I want a more matte look, i use Chanels teint innocence liquid foundation. Its amazing.

I think they do trials of Bare Minerals at some Sephora locations....at least I saw someone doing it there once!

I use Arbonne Primer (it makes foundation go on very smooth, (I started using it a few months ago and now I'm hooked!), Maybeline Pure makeup, it is a very light foundation and goes on flawless it is also good for your skin (it is 50% water and will not clog your pores), and Hoola bronzer by Benefit (I also wear this alone during the day and really love it, I have been using it for years).

I have tried Bare essentials and don't love it. In natural light it looks a bit cakey to me.

i use and love BE!! just got more in the mail today. Taryn (jtgarsik) is so helpful with anything and everything BE since she works at BE boutique.

eta: i have very large pores that i hate and BE actually kind of makes mine look smaller. esp when i use the mineral veil over it, not sure why. guess bc it mattes me out.

I use physicians formula too and really like it. It's good for acne prone skin. I started using it as I got older....cause i've started to develop a little of that 'adult acne'
I also use MAC for lip gloss.

I'm a BE convert myself--LOVE it.

i got a free trial of it at Sephora --- and had them try it on me and haven't gone back to any other makeup since.

I love BE as well...I wore it for my wedding and I wear it everyday. I would check out Sephora.

i use BE too. i love how it looks on me, def more natural looking than other make up that i've used, and it feels lighter. for me, it was a total PITA when i first starting using it, but now it takes me literally 5 min to put it on in the morning. DH was very against me wearing face make up cause he likes a natural look, but he actually really likes how BE looks on me.

you can get it at sephora, or at the BE stores. there's one in Roosevelt Field and one one 3rd Ave in the 60's.

I dont wear much makeup. But when I do wear it, I loooovee to play with it! LOL

I do use Bare Minerals because soooo many people say its the best. For me it is just okay. But I feel like I have to load it on for it to even seem like I have any makeup on. I do love their mascara though! Basically its a good everyday makeup- but not enough for a night out or special occasion imo.

I also use and love Bobbi Brown tinted moistureizer. It feels light but does the job of a foundation more or less. Im also using Bobbi brown lipstick right now and love it.

For blush I use MAC. They have the best blushes in my opinion!!

I use Bare Essentials for my face and then switch between Mac and BE for eye shadows.

My sister just became a consultant for Arbonne so I am sure I will be getting a lot more that now too

I use a mix of things-- benefit foundation, concealer, and clinique mattifier lotions.

i have very clear skin and BE makes my skin look flawless.... BUT i get dark under eye circles (i'm a law student and dont get nearly enough sleep) and i'm not sure if it's my fair skin or what, but BE doesn't come close to covering my under eye circles and that's with the special 'concealer' i purchased in addition to their set.

i've been using loreal or other random drugstore makeup in combo with the BE.... and drugstore eyeshadow and mascara.

nothing i'd rave about except tony & tina universal color dust which they apparently discontinued
