what kind of wedding bands

do your DH's have? was lurking on BHB and a post over there made me wonder.

DH wears a plain gold band. He's so not a gold guy but when we went ring shopping he gravitated towards it because its what his dad wore and he said it just reminds him of what a wedding band should look like after seeing if all those years as a kid. sweet, huh? now that his dad has passed he takes so much pride in wearing the same band that he wore...

A plain old white gold band. He wanted platinum but the way he loses things, no effing way. He's lost it twice so far. Found it, but still.

He has a tungston- just plain silver. Very simple. He didnt want anything else.

DH has a spinner ring ... the part in the middle spins and there's stuff written underneath (it says Craig & Mor Aug 15, 2010 and then a heart, which is in this pic)

White gold, plain. He asked the jeweler if he could make something that 'looked like a cut piece of old pipe'...ie., really dull, no shine. That's what he got. I love it.

Mine is also a plain white gold band. No stones, no etching.

Neither of us are big jewelry people.

His 'real' wedding band, as in the one that's engraved and was blessed by the priest and I put on him at our wedding is a Tungsten with a carbide center.

The one he wears everyday is a black tungsten.

oohhh very cool. ya his wedding band is the only piece of jewelry DH EVER wore. When his dad passed away he got his 'shoe' which is a charm his dad got for running track in the olympics. its gold so I got him a thin gold chain. he's got a lot going on now for a guy who really is not a jewelry person at all....

Our bands are kind of similar...DH started out saying he wanted a plain band given his work... but then once we started shopping, he decided he wanted a 'touch of bling'

I got DH two. One plain 14K gold one for everyday use. And then I got him one that is carved out for when we go out.

DH has a solid white gold band. Mine is similar but with a few diamonds. nothing crazy.
